A smirk formed when the door off to the right opened slightly, and a small officer entered the room. Her eyes were rimmed red and her hair was disheveled, bringing Sebastian to the conclusion that she knew the cocky officer he had killed. << You're the devil, »> she hissed out, nearly choking on her words. She held a large disposable phone in her shaky hands, and her words confirmed Sebastian's previous thoughts.

Normally he wouldn't have given a shit whether he had upset her or not, but her watery blue eyes reminded him of Evie, which sparked some guilt within himself.

<< Was he close to you? » Sebastian asked, biting his lip gently.

He watched as her hardened expression crumbled, and a whimper left her lips. She furiously wiped at her eyes as the cries continued to echo around her. Sebastian could only sit a watch she started to sob pathetically in front of him, her shoulders, and entire body for that matter, shaking violently with each cry.

She was crying so much that she didn't notice Sebastian approach her from behind the bars.

<< Listen, >> he spoke, startling the officer, << I am not a good person, but I'm sorry about your friend. >>

She had taken a few steps back since she had noticed their proximity, despite the large iron bars that stood between them, effectively trapping him into the cell.

<< Why? » She whimpered out, confusion and hurt on her features.

Sebastian sighed and held out his hand, taking the phone she hesitantly handed him.

« Collateral damage, love. I wouldn't expect you to understand. >>

Had Sebastian known he was wearing such a sympathetic, guilty expression, he would have realized why the young, heart-broken officer decided to help him.

<< Be careful who you call, »> she whispered quietly, her eyes wide an earnest as she pressed the importance of her words.

Sebastian only nodded in confusion, not fully processing his words as he stared down at the phone, his only chance getting out of the hellhole he was in.

He quickly dialed Mason's number, knowing that he would never go anywhere without his phone by his side.

Sebastian held his breath as the phone rang and rang, until finally someone picked up.

<< Hello? » Mason's voice rang through the phone.

<< We have a bit of a problem. >> Sebastian stated, grimacing at his words.

I was lying on my back, my vision hazy as I stared at the dull concrete ceiling above myself. The crappy white paint was peeling off in certain places, and I found myself growing fascinated by the deterioration of my own prison. There was blood pooling by my head, but I couldn't replace the strength within myself to turn my head and see just how much blood had been drained from me.

My poor head, I thought sadly, with all the blunt force trauma I've suffered from today, you'd think I'd have a fatal concussion on my hands.

The aching pain that was spreading throughout my body was strong enough to make me want to scream out, but I had already done enough of that already, and I didn't feel like my making my raw throat suffer any more. The man had left for nearly an hour now, or maybe even more. I wasn't exactly sure what I was supposed to do for the time being; for when I heard him leave, there was a series of voices that joined his.

If I was right, at the upper level of this warehouse was the most dangerous gang in London that had supposedly broken apart years ago after all of its leaders were killed.

Nine Black Guns made The Kings look like pussies, frankly.

Started by nine, short-tempered men, who referred to as vampires because they were frighteningly bloodthirsty.

They killed for fun. It was just a game for them, and then it became more. They began killing for power, and they had their minds set on being the most dangerous gang in London, while at that time not many gangs existed. They had formed before I was born and they had collapsed while I was very young, hence why I was so shocked to see their trademark tattoo going around again.

As the man had said, he had a very short temper, and it only took a few short, insulting comment to spark his uncontrollable anger.

I still was unsure of what made him stop his attack against me, because even after I started bleeding he continued to punch, kick, and throw me around.

While I tried to fight back before, I was at an advantage from the beginning. The drugs proved to have taken a large toll on me, as all my movements were slow and languid against his brutal assault.

I felt a paralyzing amount of alarm explode around me as the creaking of a door opening echoed around the room, breaking the silence.

With each step that resounded throughout the room, I felt my stomach and nerves twist and clash while my breathing became heavier and much more difficult.

I felt my eyes flutter close in anticipation as he continued to approach me. I was helpless, lying in a heap on the ground, and it would be wrong for him to continue attacking me, though we both knew it didn't matter whether or not it was fair. << Oh dear, » an unfamiliar voice filled my ears, << he sure did a number on you. >>

My eyes stayed closed, as my breathing remained labored, the fear numbing me as I tensed in terror.

He sighed above me, and I felt him crouch down by my side.

I wasn't sure if I should be happy that it wasn't the man who had mercilessly beat me before, or be scared that this man was worse.

Slowly and cautiously, I allowed my eyes to part and meet his.

Before I could get a proper look at him, a cry left my lips as the light of the warehouse, sending an overwhelming amount of pain to pierce my skull, blinded my vision.

<< Close your eyes, >> he ordered, a command I was more than willing to comply. << As much as I would like to have a talk with you as soon as possible, I think we should get you cleaned up first. >>

I felt his hand gently brush over my hair, twirling it with his finger playfully.

<< Ready?»> He asked.

Against my better judgment, I parted my eyelids to look up at him in confusion.

I let out a breathy gasp as strong arms lifted me up, and cradled into the stranger's chest.

I knew it would be futile to try to fight back at the moment, and I wanted nothing more than to be stitched up and have the blood be washed from my bruised and broken body.

<< I don't know anything,>> I whimpered out, my desperation breaking through as my voice cracked and tears welled up in my eyes.

The man just shushed me, ignoring the whimpers and cries that escaped my shaky lips.

<< Let's just clean you up first, then you can deny everything all you want. >>

And in my gut I knew nothing good was going to happen anytime soon.

Sebastian slammed his fists into the wall repeatedly, his anger at an all time high. After talking to Mason, he had discovered that Evie had never returned home, which made him downright sick with worry. With all the time that had passed, Sebastian was sure that she was already home; yet from Mason's reaction to Sebastian's arrest, he should have realized that something was wrong.

Nevertheless, Mason and Callum would be there in a matter of time, ready to get him out of this place and replace Evelyn.

<< Where the fuck is she ! »>> Sebastian suddenly exclaimed, slamming his hands down on the concrete bench in the cell. Dust and broken bits fell to the ground, thus fueling Sebastian's assault.
