I flutter my eyes open and get out of bed to open the window but freeze as a terrible headache hits me, I feel nausea and sit back at the edge of the bed. I notice am wearing a big shirt but I don’t remember…Wait. a few flashbacks from yesterday come back to me and my eyes widen, Ahyan. I Immediately rush downstairs, I replace Ahyan in the kitchen, making breakfast. He looks up to me, taking me in from top to bottom then his gaze lingers on my bare legs, I shudder and take in a deep breath. My skin feels so hot and I replace myself fidgeting a little. I clear my throat and he averts his gaze.

” I’ll make you a coffee,” He says, turning his back on me. He goes to the coffeemaker. He hands me a mug and I take it.

He has a sly expression on his face and I hide behind my mug, clearing my throat again.

” Good morning,” I hear his gruff voice. I answer him before putting the mug on the counter.

” Did I embarrass myself last night?”

He looks at for me a long time, a small smile playing on his lips ” No, but you need to work on pole dancing,” He says seriously. I grab my mug and run to my room, locking the door behind me.

An hour later, Ahyan calls me down for breakfast, we eat together silently but I can feel his gaze on me but I continue without looking at him.

I finish eating and wash my plate then go for a long relaxing shower.

I get ready for the day, I wear leggings and a tank top before going out. Ahyan has also changed, he texted me saying we should go hiking if I’m up for it. Noticing me, he puts his phone in his pocket.

“Ready?” I nod and we leave the house, we are walking to the mountain, Ahyan mentioned that it has a good view and as we walk I feel his penetrating gaze on me. ” Look there,” I follow his finger, there is an amazing waterfall a few meters are away and I can hear the water hitting the ground, the place is serene, I smile and together we watch the scenery, satisfied in this position. My heart is pacing and my wolf is howling in happiness at our closeness. I take in his musk and press my back against his hard chest as we sit on a huge boulder. I am listening to the beating of Ahyan’s heart, it’s very fast, and I close my eyes as his gentle fingers caress my arm.

My phone chimes in my pocket and check to see messages from Sophie, she and Tomas hung out yesterday and he kissed her. I smile and write my reply. I put the phone back into my pocket.

A few hours later, Ahyan suggests we leave, I get to my feet and realize the sun is almost setting, Is this how it is when you spend time with the one you love? Time slows and flies by at the same time.

On our way back, Ahyan grabs my hand as I kept slipping and hitting tree branches. I stop when I hear a hissing sound, snake, I hate snakes!

” What is it?” Ahyan asks, concerned.

” Snake,” I whisper, hugging his arm tightly.

” I love snakes, where is it?” Just as he says, the reptile hisses loudly and is suddenly in front of my face, I cover my face with my hands and I scream.

” It’s okay,” I hear prince Ahyan say. When I remove my hands from my face, he has the snake by the neck. I whimper when he defangs it and sets it free.

” Why did you let it go? It can bite someone, you know,”

” You wanted me to kill it?”

” Yes,”

” But I like snakes, they are peaceful,” He says, I scoff

” Did you see how it almost attacked me? It looked murderous!” I exclaim, he only chuckles and grabs my hand again, running. We stop at a huge clearing in the deep woods, I’m panting while he looks energetic.

” Why did we run?” I scowl, placing a hand over my chest.

” I want you to meet someone,” He smiles. I look around, frowning before realizing he means his dragon, my smile widens as I nod.

He takes a few steps away from me, and the ground beneath us vibrates, I watch as skin disappears and is replaced by golden scales, It doesn’t take a long time for him to fully shift, It’s… magical. My lips part as I take the huge dragon in. His scales are golden and shiny, I’m sure they sparkle in the sun, his eyes are big, and darker than the Prince’s with golden rings around them, and his body is lean and sturdy. He has a long back and tail, and his claws look very sharp.

The creature is observing me curiously with his big unique eyes, after it’s done, he bends down its neck to sniff me. He backs away again, and I take a few steps closer. Rising my fingers touch Its scales, It’s warm. I caress the scales and his body visibly relaxes, so I continue and it produces low growls in delight I’d hope.

“Drakon, ” I breath, ” You’re beautiful,” I whisper. His snout is closer to me and I feel his warm breath on my skin.

” Isn’t he beautiful, Rhudo?” My wolf was quiet this whole time, ” Rhudo?”

She is still silent, so unlike her.

Drakon bends his body low, indicating that I should get on his back, I use my strength to jump on his back, careful not to hurt myself with its sharp scales. I caress his back and place a k**s on it. I gasp as his gigantic wings extend, does he want to fly, no way.

” No, no, no, Drakon wait!” I scream but it’s too late as he takes off into the sky at lightning speed, I clenched my eyes shut as I scream at the top of my lungs.

‘ Open your eyes, Amara,’

I raise my eyebrows, I didn’t know Dragons can telepathically speak to other creatures. I oblige and open my eyes, we are up in the sky, moving steadily towards the south and everything looks small from this position. I can see the trees and riverfront and when we move further I see a couple of neat buildings. Feeling calm and safe, I enjoy the wind against my skin. I spread my arms and look up, smiling.

” THIS IS AMAZING!” I scream, this time in happiness. The flying is smooth and peaceful.

‘ I knew you’d like it,’ His voice resounds in my head again.

Later, I notice his pace slows and we are heading down after soaring in the air for about thirty minutes. I get down swiftly and stand in front of him, he nuzzles my neck and I scratch his scales.

He changes back quickly, now, Ahyan is standing in front of me, naked.

I try to keep my gaze on his face even though my traitorous eyes want to look down. Once again, I stop breathing when his intoxicating scent hit me like a truck. I feel moist between my legs.
