The Princess Slave
Chapter 69

Violette POV

“Tell me everything,” Lillian said. She’d brought Sylvia in with her.. and I owed Sylvia an apology for being so harsh on her the other day.

“Oh, Lillian. It was truly the best day..” I said softly. I held back my blushing as best as I could, but I knew my face was redder than the strawberries I shared with Viktor this morning.

“Sylvia.. I owe y-you an apology..” I said. She shook her head and held my hands.

“You don’t. I was pushing too much, and I’m the one who owes you an apology. I’m the one who’s sorry. I shouldn’t have brought it up.” She said. I pulled her in for a hug and held onto her tightly.

“Okay, now tell us. I’m dying to know.” Sylvia said as she she stepped back and clapped her hands together.

I told them everything.. well except the part where he fingered me in carriage.. when I’d brought up the seer, they looked at me questionably.

“I’ve heard of them.. but I’ve never met one. She said you had a beautiful future ahead of you?” Lillian asked. I nodded my head.

“She knew my name, she knew some-something about my past. I feel as if she wa-was the real thing.” I said.

“That is peculiar. I wonder what she saw.” Sylvia said. I shrugged my shoulders.

“Would you like us to run you a bath? You.. kind of smell like arousal and Viktor..” Lillian said as she grimaced a little. I giggled as I nodded.

“Yes. I would greatly appreciate it. And I wanted to thank you.. I had the best day. It has been quite a while since I’ve felt that way, or even seen my Snowball.. it meant a lot, truly.” I said.

“You deserved it. You deserve only the best.” Lillian said softly. Sylvia ran to the door and told them to bring hot water for the bath.

We waited for a while as the guards began filling up my bath and then Lillian helped me undress.

“Did he bite you?” Lillian gasped. I looked down to see two bite marks, one on my stomach and one on my breast.

“Yes..” I said.

“Well, they look fine.. but they’re healing kind of slowly.. let me make a paste.” She said as she walked to my dresser. I stepped into the bath and lowered myself in. I let out a soft m**n as I grew relaxed.

“Why did he bite you?” Sylvia asked. I shrugged my shoulders.

“It was just in the mo-ment. I.. enjoyed it so do not worry. It’s n-ot the first time.” I said. They both giggled at my honesty.

“As long as you enjoy it.” Lillian laughed. Sylvia began washing me as Lillian took out the small braids in my hair and soaked my head.

“You know, something about you is different..” Lillian said.

“Wh-what do you mean?” I asked.

“I can’t pinpoint it, but there’s just a difference. Maybe it’s because you’re not home with your Father. You were always so.. sad. So broken. Seeing you with the King has changed something.” She said.

“Do you love him?” Sylvia asked. I didn’t know how to answer.. because I didn’t know the answer for myself.

“Sylvia! Don’t push.” Lillian scolded her and I laughed.

“What? I was just curious but I won’t push..” Sylvia said.

“Well.. I do know that I don’t think of anyone else the way I think of him..” I said. I leaned my head back as Lillian rinsed the soap out of my hair.

“I think the beautiful future the seer was talking about was you two,” Sylvia said. I closed my eyes and thought about it.. maybe she was right.. I had thought about that, but of course, I can’t be sure.

“Have you had any pains?” Lillian asked. I shook my head.

“No, n-not anything,” I said.

“Hmm.. maybe your mate has realized.” She said.

“What if he comes searching for you..” Sylvia said. My heart dropped in my chest.. I didn’t want that. I don’t want my mate.. I want Viktor.

As horrible as it is to admit that.. I’ve grown the enjoy being with Viktor.. even in his toughest moments. I seek his touch.. his attention. I don’t want to be taken away from him. And I don’t think Viktor would allow it.

“I d-don’t want my mate,” I said bluntly.

“You want Viktor,” Lillian said with a smile.

“More than anything..” I said.

“Well, let’s get you dried off and dressed,” Lillian said. There was a knock on the door and Lillian spoke.

“Come in,” she said. The door opened and in walked Beatrice.

“Ahh, I thought maybe I’d replace you girls in here. I assume you told them everything about yesterday?” Beatrice asked me. I smiled as I nodded.

“When you’re dressed the King has requested you to join him in his chambers.” She said. The girls helped me out of the bath and began drying me.

“Let’s be quick then,” Lillian said with a smile.

“Are you still in heat? Your breasts look a bit bigger than usual.” Lillian asked. I furrowed my brows as I shook my head.

“I don’t think so. Maybe I’m about to be.” I said. She nodded in agreement as they finished drying me.

They pulled an emerald green gown on me and fastened it between my breasts and began working on my hair.

Lillian left my hair down, tying a matching green ribbon in my hair and leaving a few strands of hair dangling in my face just like I like it.

“Goddess.. I wish I was as pretty as you.” Sylvia said. I leaned down and cupped her face.

“You are far more beautiful than I, Sylvia. You will make a stunning woman.” I said. She smiled as her cheeks turned pink.

“I will have dinner brought to you and the King. Come girls, help me get it ready.” Beatrice shooed the girls out and looked back at me before leaving.

“You do look very lovely, miss Violette.” She said. She turned around and left me to gather myself before I’d walk to Viktor’s chambers.

“Hello, Violette. Don’t you look nice?” Loren asked with a smile. The door opened and there Viktor stood.

“Mine.” He said as he reached out of the doorway and pulled me in. I heard Loren chuckle as the door closed.

“He was right.. you look.. very nice.” He said as he pulled me against him. Something indeed is very different with us both.

“T-thank you..” I said shyly.

“I’ve almost finished with my work.. would you join me?” He asked. I nodded my head as he pulled me into his office.

“Do you w-want my help? I can help it go alo-ng quicker..” I said. He furrowed his brows.

“Only if you want.” He said.

“I do,” I replied. He pulled a chair to the side of his desk and I sat down. He took his seat and placed a stack of paper and quill in front of me.
