"And you are mine" he said finally.

Kiarra's wolf was jumping with excitement to finally hear the hear the words from her mate and she let out a small scream hugging him tightly. She couldn't contain her excitement and Zion merely laughed at her happiness. If he'd known it would make her this happy he'd have said it a long time ago and he was going to keep saying it for as long as he lived.

She pulled back to look at his mouth longingly and captured his lips without hesitation. Her lips were soft, warm and a little inexperienced. He slowly guided her taking in her plump lips, savouring the taste of her. It was like fireworks as she yielded under him for him to guide her through their first kiss. It was slow and torturous and he needed more of her. He didn't know if he could ever get enough of her. He increased the pace, his mouth rough and demanding on hers. His tongue was entangled with hers and she could feel his hard body pressing against hers. It was like a hard wave and she was breathless as he was demanding every inch of her.

She quickly broke away from the passionate kiss already missing the feel of his mouth on hers, the taste of him.

"There's a ceremony" she managed to pant out and he looked at her puzzled. If only she could get her thoughts together.

"There's a ceremony for us lycans before we mate. It's similar to yours. We mark each other and then we complete the full mating process."

His eyebrows lifted.

"You want us to wait?" he asked huskily and she did not want to say yes but she had to force herself to nod.

"So we're going to be living in the same house, be in the same bed and not have s*x until the ceremony?" the side of his mouth tilted and she knew where he

was getting at.

"Until after Christmas and then we fully mate?"

He wanted her to know the extent of what they were going into.

"You want us two wolves to be with each other constantly and not have s*x?"

"Yes. We will be fine plus it will give us a chance to fully get to know each other," she said resolutely. She really had no idea what she was getting herself into and he placed it on her inexperience. "Have you felt our bond?"

She swallowed and nodded.

"Okay we will wait. Can you wait?"

"What's that supposed to mean?"

He laughed at her and she looked so determined. It was cute.

"And you're an alpha."

"Exactly. It's a disaster waiting to happen but we'll see if we make it to the ceremony."

"I have one more question though."

He looked at her unsure whether he should ask the question.

"Why are you naked?"

"Your body was below normal body temperature. You were cold, very cold." Kiarra tried not to falter.

"Uh huh" she could see the glint in his eyes but she pushed on.

"So Daniel had placed you in the bath in warm water."

"Mhmm" he was goading her.

"So to get your body temperature back up because I was sick worried I thought skin to skin contact would be best to save your life. So that's why we're both naked."

"Did you enjoy the view?"

Her cheeks started to heat up.

"I wasn't paying that much attention to you." she was dead on lying. She had paid a lot of attention.

"Sure you weren't," he called her out.

"You should be lucky I saved your life."

"Very, lucky. I'm going to need you to save my life more often like this."

She started to shuffle to get the sheet around her but he stopped her.

"No no no. Wait because we have noticed for the longest while now" Out of reflex she went to ask who is we but she didn't dare to look down. "Why didn't you say something earlier?"

He laughed at her like that was the most ridiculous question he'd heard.

"Why would I say something? I was fighting the good fight and enjoying the feel of your breasts on my chest and if I said something you would have gotten up and I wouldn't have gotten any heat." he told her honestly.

She laughed at him and held the sheets. She needed to put clothes on for the both of them.

"You never thought that when I woke up it would be questionable as to why you are naked?" "I fell asleep. Clearly I would have put clothes on before you woke up" she told him pointedly. "Uh huh" he smugly replied. " We are definitely not making it to the ceremony."

"Zion I need to go and put on clothes so I need you to let go off of the sheet."

Why Are You Naked?

She rolled her eyes at him but he still held on to the sheet.

"You do know that technically it is all mine and I'm going to know every inch of it. Plus, Daniel just mind linked me to see if I was awake and fine. He's on his way and I'm guessing the door isn't locked Anastasia so you need to hurry up and put some clothes on." "Daniel isn't coming. You just want me to watch me walk naked."

He flashed her a cunning smile and she decided since he wasn't playing fair she wasn't going to either. It would be a bit awkward for Daniel to replace them in bed naked and happy.

She looked at him sadly.

"Zion"

He caved quicker than she thought.

"Okay fine"

He closed his eyes and she hurriedly slipped on one of his black t-shirts. She loved the feel and smell of them but mainly she loved that they were his.

"I thought your brother was coming?" she asked him as she climbed back into bed with him.

"I told him you were naked."

She laughed when she thought of Daniel doing a big u-turn in the hall.

"Aren't you hungry?"

Now that she mentioned it he actually was. It was almost midnight. He really had been out for quite a while and he tried not to think of the weird dreams he had been having.
