Chapter 11: Not a baby anymore

Roselet was running from her wardrobe to her bed in excitement back and front, carrying all herbeautiful dresses and her matching shoes and her matching accessories with them.

“Rose, darling! Calvin said that you're going for just two days.” Nelina said carefully, not to makeRoselet sad. Five days had passed since Calvin told his love about her Mommy, and during thisperiod, he came up with a plan to create a situation in which Roselet could meet her mother. It wasa trip of two days. Since it was a secret mission, so it wouldn't be possible for Roselet to meet hermother instantly after reaching her mother’s pack; that was why after planning properly, Calvinplanned it for two days.

And Roselet was so happy with this news that she wanted to keep all her best dresses that shewould wear while meeting her mother.

Her daddy had taught her to get ready like the princess that she was whenever it was an importantfunction or day of her life. And meeting her mother for the first time was indeed an important dayof her life, and she had to look her best at that time.

“Please add this dress as well.” She requested with a pout. “Please, Grandma Nelina.” Nelina lookedat her bag and then at her, she had already kept six dresses, and this was the seventh one.

"Okay, fine. This is the last one, okay?"

"Okay, Grandma. Thank you.” She said and ran again to check something that she would be missingto pack.

On the Otherside, Zordan packed the things that he would need for two days. “I'm telling you againthat I don't know how to babysit a baby,” he said to Calvin, who was sending Roselet with Zordaninstead of taking her on his own.

“Don’t worry. My princess doesn't need anyone to take care of her. She can take care of herself andyours as well. And there are multiple reasons why I am sending you instead of taking Rose on myown. The first and foremost reason is I don't want anyone to know that Rose is my daughterbecause whoever had left Rose at my pack entrance years back would recognize Rose if she wentwith me. So, in case that woman has no idea about our daughter, her enemies will already turn onalert mode, thinking of us as a threat.”

“The second reason is that my parents will start trying to poke their nose more than it requires ifthey will get to know that I found the Mommy of my pup,” Calvin revealed. “Anyways, the plan issimple. You're going there in search of your mate, which you haven't found even at the age oftwenty-eight years old, and no Alpha couldnt stop anyone who is looking for their mate fromstaying in a pack for a day or two. In that time, while he will be busy assembling all the unmatedgirls, Rose can meet her mother for once and for all.”

“Do you think that she will be fine by meeting her mother just one time?” Zordan asked, grabbingthe sitting chair in front of him.

“To be honest, I don't know the answer to this question. As for now, she wants to meet her motherthen. I will make sure that will happen.” Calvin replied, but at the same time, he was insecure as well.The thought that his daughter might choose her Mommy over him was scaring him, but he didn'twant to act selfish just because of his insecurity. It was her right to know who gave birth to him."Okay. So, let me recall the plan.” Zordan said. “It has been ten years since I haven't found my matein any mating ball. That's why I decided to visit every pack to replace my fated mate before choosingsomeone else as my chosen mate.”

"And I brought my niece with me because she loves traveling to new places and wasn't ready to letme come here alone.”

“Hmm. Next.” Calvin nodded his head at his explanation.

“She is dad's best friend's granddaughter and is close to our family, and her grandmother anduncles are humans,” Zordan said.

"Hmm. I couldn't smell any lie. You have to speak the same. Let everyone assume that Rose isOmega's daughter rather than Alpha's daughter; otherwise, she might get kidnapped.” Calvinmumbled.

"How can she get kidnapped? Her uncle will be there to keep her safe.” Zordan quickly said. “She isthe little princess of the pack, and her safety will be the priority of every warrior.”

“I know that, but at the same time, she is a pup who can think of playing with pups other age. Youcan't look after her all the time, and if you do that, then the people around her surely startsuspecting Rose as some important person. I have explained everything to Rose already, so sheknows how to act, just like her Aunt Tee.”

“Tiara,” Zordan said in a dreamy tone. “Can I ask her for my chosen mate if I can't replace my mate?” Heasked softly with his best friend. All of a sudden, Calvin roared in anger.

“She is my sister. In the same way, she is your sister too.”

“What rubbish?”

“This is not rubbish but the fact. My parents are like your second parents to you, right?”

“Right.”

“My daughter is like your daughter to you, right?”

“Right?”

“My brother is like your brother to you, right?”

“Right.”

“Then my sister is like your sister to you, right?”

“Ri... wait NO00000000."” Zordan cried, shaking his head.

“See, Zordy!! I'm asking you to stay away from Tee for a reason. It's not because I'm acting as aprotective brother or something, but Tiara is different from all of us. I mean, she is not a bad person,but she is self-centered and self-obsessed, and in every word in which, “SELF’ come first. She haslived her life like a princess and now living as a queen. She rejected her own fated mate the momentshe realized that she would have to go to the Black Council by choosing him. So, beware of her andprepare yourself for a heartbeat as well, my friend, because she is all about “I, ME, and MYSELF.”“Calvin.” Roselet came running into his cabin without knocking it and jumped on him. “My luggageis packed. See...” Saying this, she pointed her finger.

Zordan's jaw dropped seeing three bags of Roselet while Calvin just chuckled. “Dadddddyyyyy!!""Yes, love!l”

“I was wondering if you could take me shopping. I don't have any dress to wear.”

“Rose!! Darling, you can't act like old ladies just from this age who have a whole wardrobe full ofclothes and always complain about no dress to wear.” Zordan complained. He was well aware thatCalvin had gotten her varieties of beautiful dresses. Not just Calvin, but she keeps receiving dressesand matching accessories from her Aunt Tee the most.

“Calvin!! Pleaseeeee”, She pouted

“Sure, love, but I don’t understand why you need a new dress now. There are no importantupcoming events, and we have already bought Indian ethnic wear for Diwali.” Calvin pointed out.“Dadddyyy,” Roselet changed her tone and started playing with Calvin's shirt button.

"Yes, love!l”

“I want to look beautiful while meeting Mommy. Can I please get one new dress? Pleassseeee,daddddyyy!!"

"Okay, anything for you but at one condition. You won't be taking three bags with you.” Calvin said.“Exactly,” Zordan added, looking at her luggage. “By the way, what is there in these bags?”"Dresses, footwear, all the matching accessories, and my teddy,” Roselet replied.

“You're going on a secret mission, love, where you have to look like Omega’s pup. That's why youjust can't all your beautiful dresses.” Calvin said softly. “As per your wish, I will get you a beautifuldress, and as my wish, I will pack your luggage, okay?”

“Okay!!”

"Come on now!! Let's go shopping.” Saying this, Calvin stood up on his feet, carrying Rose in hisarms

"Wait! Wait! Let me get my goggles, hat, and purse.” Rose said, on which Calvin put her own, andshe quickly ran from his office to get her belongings.

“I, too, want a daughter like her, mate.” Zordan smiled, watching her run.

"Adopt one!!” Calvin joked.

“In that case, I will adopt a boy who will bring Rose home as the daughter-in-law.” Zordan joked.“That boy must be her mate too.” Calvin laughed. “By the way, Caro has changed Rose's scent sothat she can't be identified as my or that woman's daughter to make sure that your wolf remembersher new scent for two days.”

“Noted. Alpha.”

“Calvinnnn!! I'm here.” Roselet arrived carrying a small purse, a hat on her head, and goggles on hereyes.

“You're looking beautiful.”

“Thank you.” Roselet smiled and gave her the box of her goggles to keep in his pocket. “This doesn'tfit in my purse.”

“Yeah! Yeah, I can see that.” Calvin nodded his head, wondering why the hell Tiara got such a smallpurse for Roselet. He leaned toward her to carry her when she slapped his chest softly.“Calvvinnnn.. I'm not a baby anymore.”

“Aaahh!! I will remind you the same line when you will get tired of walking.” Calvin taunted her."Come on now!"
