The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning by Max Charming Chapter 1315

Blake felt sad for a while after deleting Kevin’s contact. Then, she experienced a sense of relief that she had never felt before.

Back then, she was determined to be with Kevin. Now, she was equally determined to let him go instantly.

Like Kevin, Blake never made decisions lightly, nor would she give up easily. But if she had to move on, she would not regret it either.

At the hotel, Audrey said, “Blake must’ve misunderstood the situation. Why don’t you let me explain it to her? I’ll tell her that you only agreed to be engaged to me to appease those who wanted to deal with my family. Blake likes you so much, and you like her too, right?”

Kevin remained silent. Audrey held his hands and could feel his whole body tensing.

She knew he was just enduring the pain.

Despite Kevin’s cold demeanor, he was still human; he had emotions and desires. It was not that he did not have feelings for Blake. It was just that there were too many obstacles between them.

Kevin responded, “You don’t need to do that. I’ll handle it myself.

“Ms. Parker, take care and get some rest.”

After he left the hotel room, he went somewhere. The next morning, Blake woke up in Liam’s arms. When she saw him still sleeping soundly, she did not move.

He had taken care of her all night. Blake’s fever came and went repeatedly. Even though she took medicine in the first half of the early morning, her temperature started to rise again later on.

But now she was completely fine.

Blake was wide awake now. She carefully lifted the blanket, got out of the bed, and went to the living room. It was originally messy, but she found it had been tidied up. The blanket on the couch had also been neatly folded.

Liam had barely slept for a few hours when he felt Blake, who was next to him, was missing. He immediately sat up and ran to the living room. He saw her sitting on the couch, watching television and smiling as usual.

He felt unreal. Blake turned to look at him. “Liam, my mom just called and told us to go back to have lunch.”

“Okay,” Liam responded.

Blake asked, “Why did you come out without wearing shoes?”

She then grabbed a pair of new, spare slippers from the entrance and handed them to him. “Put these on quickly. Then, change your clothes, and let’s go to the Harper residence.”

Liam suddenly hugged Blake, burying his face in her neck. “Blake… Thank you.”

“Silly boy, what are you thanking me for? Hurry up and change your clothes; I’m starving.”

“Alright.”

When they arrived at the Harper residence, it was already noon. It was almost time for lunch.

At the dining table, they were still discussing wedding matters.

Hannah asked, “The original wedding date was all set; I even booked the hotel. Why did you two postpone it?

“Blake, was it your idea?”

Liam immediately responded, “It was my idea. Please don’t blame Blake.”

Blake did not want her family to know about her conflicts with Liam, so she said, “I remembered that Liam and I hadn’t taken our wedding photos yet. We planned to do that, so we delayed the wedding date.”

Hannah replied, “I see! How many days do you want to postpone it? We need to inform the hotel.”
