Izzy

I shift slowly on the soft mattress underneath me, but every part of my body is aching. I slowly open my eyes and squint. My eyes adjust to the surroundings as I look and move onto my back, making my arms and whole body ache more.

What the hell happened last night?

But images slowly emerge in my head as I remember having sex with Blake. But it was when we came to the room, our shifter counterparts wanted to mate, using our human forms to do it.

I wish they did it in their forms, as an image of Axel mounding me from behind and slamming into me hard. Puna moaning loud as he comes deep inside her, but it didn’t stop at once. No, they both kept going for another four times.

An arm tightens around me as I move my head to look at Blake; he was awake with a stupid grin on his face. “Morning,” he says as he moves closer to my lips and kisses me.

I kiss him back as his hand draws circles on my stomach, which doesn’t help my core. Blake moves away slightly, but I quickly turn around but flinch at my body’s soreness.

Blake moves toward me, places his head into my neck, and sniffs my scent.

“Izzy, you okay?” he asks as he places a tender kiss on my neck.

“I’m sore, but I’m okay,” I say in a whisper. I looked back at Puna, who was snoring soundly in my head.

Blake places another kiss on my shoulder. “I can tell. I told Axel to be gentle with you, but he wanted Puna a lot.”

I groaned.

“I remember watching most of it,” I say to him as I close my eyes. I could feel Blake smirk against my shoulder. “Did you enjoy?”

I opened my eyes and couldn’t help but smirk. “I never knew I could bend like that before, and also I never knew that Puna was a dirty talking cat, either.”

Blake laughs, and I can’t help but laugh, too.

There is no way they are using our bodies again.

“I think we will let them run around a few times; they can mate properly then,” he says to me as he places another tender kiss, but this time on my shoulder.

I have to admit; I’m completely in love with the guy.

We stayed like this for a few moments, but I needed to move as I needed to use the bathroom. I move slowly out of bed while Blake moves up the bed. I swing my legs over the bed and land them on the floor.

I moved slowly off the bed, but there was a gasp. I look over my shoulder at Blake, who has his hand over his mouth. “Izzy, I’m sorry,” he says as he moves from the bed. “I didn’t realize that Axel was that rough with you; if I had known, I would have made him stop.”

I looked at him, confused, but I glanced down. My eyes grew wide; my whole body was covered in bruises and scratches. I looked like I fought with a wild animal; technically, I did, but not how most would think. I looked up at Blake, who moved quickly to my side and wrapped his arm around me.

“Let me help you to the bathroom,” he says.

Blake wraps his arm around my waist and helps me toward the bathroom. I can feel my insides below throb. I flinch, and Blake stops. He looks down at me. “You okay?” he asks.

I nod.

“Let’s say I will have a lovely chat with Puna when she wakes up,” I say through clenched teeth. Stupid damn horny cat.

I looked back at her, but she was silent. It was hard to tell whether she was awake or not. I looked straight ahead and walked into the bathroom.

Blake switched on the shower while I stepped in; Blake looked at me. The corners of his lips turn up slightly. Damn stupid mate bond.

“I will stay here, and you can have some peace,” he says. I could sense Axel near, but judging by the look Blake was giving me, he was giving him a talking too. I walk into the shower and let the water wash over me.

As soon as the water hits my tender body, I could feel the soreness drift away. But when I started washing, I hiss loudly, especially when the washcloth touched my skin in certain areas, but it couldn’t be helped.

After a few more minutes, I walk out, and Blake wraps a big towel around me. I couldn’t help but smile at him. He smiles back. “I told Axel off, and he is sorry for hurting you,” he says as he leans forward to kiss me.

I kiss him back but quickly pull away.

“I’m going to replace Allie,” I say to him as I walk back into the bedroom. I turned to walk in, but noticed that Blake had a vacant expression on his face. He must have had a mind link come through.

I walk into the room and straight to the closet, leaving him to deal with whatever it was.

I quickly changed into some comfy clothes and an oversized hoodie, which would help hide all the marks and bruises I got. I don’t want anyone commenting on them.

I was dressed by the time Blake was out of the bathroom. He had a towel wrapped around his waist, showing his v shape. I couldn’t help but gulp. I had to turn and look away.

“You okay over there?” he asks, which I could feel his amusement through the mate bond.

I stop to feel the emotion. It was nice to feel something that wasn’t generated by power.I smiled and looked over my shoulder at him. “I will be. I need food, so I’m going to get some breakfast. What do you have to do? I’m assuming you have somewhere to be?” I ask him.

“That was Dale. He and my father want me to go to the office as Drake and Alpha Dawson want to give me a rundown of what’s happening in the Red Moon pack,” he says as he pulls a t-shirt down over his chest. Blake sighs as he walks toward me. He stood in front of me. “Kacey also mind linked me, saying that she and Charley were in the yard with Allie and Archer. But my mother and Kat want to talk to you about something,” he said as he leaned down and kissed my lips.

I kiss him back. I pull away and smile. “I will meet you in the office later than,” I say to him. “I bet Allie will want to see you.”

He smiles, “I would love to see my two girls later on,” he says as he places another kiss on my lips.

We both move away and head out the door.

Blake goes to the office, and I make my way to the kitchen, where Luna Lauren and Kat are sitting around the kitchen counter.

As I walk in, they both look up at me. “Izzy,” says Kat as I make my way over to her. I smile and place a kiss on her cheek. I sit next to her, and Luna Lauren smiles at me. “Izzy.”

I nod.

“So,” I say, but I look at Kat; she looks like she has something to say. “What’s wrong?”

Kat looks at me and sighs. “It’s Allie,” she says and looks at Luna Lauren, then back at me. “Allie didn’t sleep well last night; it was horrible. I couldn’t settle her back down. In the end, it resulted in Alice and Paul having to stay with me. She woke up the entire house and possibly the entire street. She had a nightmare; she dreamt about the war and what she saw in the forest—Todd being killed.”

A tear slides down her face, and I place my hand on her arm. “I’m sorry Kat,” I said. “She will be with Blake and me tonight.”

Kat shook her head. “No, it’s okay. It was hard to watch as she told me about what happened and what she witnessed in great detail. Izzy, she remembers everything,” she says.

I look at her, but an image of Lena comes into my head. Maybe Lena can help her; she took my memories away when I needed them gone. But she might have other ideas about what she could do for Allie.

I pull myself from my thoughts and quickly change the subject. “When should we plan and organizing the Alpha and Luna ceremony?” I ask.

Kat looks at me with a startled expression, but a slow smirk forms on her face. “Nice change of subject,” she says.

I smile. “I know talking about Todd is still tough for you, but like I said before, we are all here for you, and I want to help in any way I can.” She nods, “I know, sweetheart,” she says. She clears her throat. “How about we get some ideas from you? Both Luna Lauren and I can do the rest.”

I nod.

Luna Lauren pulls a notebook out from the counter, and we plan.

We take two hours to develop a color scheme, what color and style for my dress, suit color for Blake, and even a dress for Allie. We also covered the flowers, the grand hall for the venue, and the guest list, which I learned will be every Alpha and Luna in the country coming. Not scary at all. We made good headway on it. Both Luna Lauren and Kat told me I didn’t have to do much as they would do the rest. I just had to go shopping for mine and Allie’s dress.

During the talk, I had some food made by the omega who works in the kitchen. Once the planning and I finished eating, I headed outside to replace Allie. I spotted them in the playground, but Allie was sitting on her own on the bench.

That’s not like her; she usually would play with Archer and the other children. I walked, but I could feel Puna stir inside, and I couldn’t help but smirk. “Axel wore you out, huh,” I say to her as she yawns at me. She looks back as soon as she stops, but the grin on her face says it all.

“Oh, he did,” she says.

“I’m happy for you,” I say to her. “But next time, do nothing drastic to my body, or better yet, wait to shift in your true forms to fuck. I’m sore in places I should never be, and don’t start me on the bruises and marks I have.”

Puna looks at me and cocks her head to the side. “I’m sorry, but something came over us. All four of us, and we can’t even say it was our power as it’s stored in the amulet.”

I come to a complete stop, remembering what happened before our exercise activities started. Lena placed both Allie and my power into our amulets.

Something must be in the air, I thought.

Puna looks back but didn’t seem convinced.

Puna went back to lying down in my head as I got to the pack slowly and opened the gate. The sound of “MUMMY” greeted me as my little angel ran straight toward me. I knelt and opened my arms, and Allie ran straight into my open arms. I can feel Puna purr in my head as Allie’s scent washes over us.

All worries and everything leave when Allie is in my arms.
