Chapter 85

BLAKE

I watch as Izzy moves around the room, searching for clothes to wear, and walks into the closet.

I had to have her, even if it meant not being inside her, but I was never expecting her to pleasure me as well.

I can’t help but look down at the mess she helped me with, which was all over my leg; her hand was my kryptonite and my undoing.

Fuck, her movements were amazing.

“She asked her Panther for help,” blurts Axel.

“What do you mean?” I ask him; I walk into the bathroom to get cleaned up.

“I think mate hasn’t been with anyone since that man hurt her,” he says with a growl, “Her panther told her what to do.”

I stared back at myself in the mirror; it never occurred that she did nothing else with other people. But suddenly, I remember her telling us she had never been intimate with anyone after what happened to her, after what Michael did to her.

“Mate was brave,” says Axel quietly.

I nod, “Axel,” I say, “I think we should wait to mark her, I know you want to as it’s us wanting to make sure she’s safe, and we can feel her, but I think we need to wait.”

Axel looks at me but grunts. “I think you are right, we both know mate can look after herself, and her power is more powerful than ever, but can we replace out when we can claim her as our Luna,” he asks me as he lays down in my head.

He is right, and to be honest, I never thought about it till now. I know we have a pending war, but I want to make sure there is an opportunity that she will want to be our Luna. I want some confirmation from her.

“Mate will be Luna, don’t worry,” says Axel.

I can hear Izzy walking outside the bathroom door; I quickly clean myself up and open the door.

Izzy looks over her shoulder and stares at me; I move over to the closet, quickly grab a t-shirt and pull over my head.

Once I pulled down the t-shirt, I could feel Izzy’s eyes on me. I can’t help but smirk, “Enjoyed the show, princess,” I say as I turn around.

Her eyes are on mine; she licks her lips.

“Ah… We need to go,” she says quickly, blushing slightly.

I can’t help but laugh slightly at how nervous she is still around me.

“Izzy,” I say as she moves to the door but stops as I call her. She looks over her shoulder at me.

I move close to her and wrap my arms around her waist; I lean into her and sniff in her scent.

Izzy rests against my chest and breathes in.

I smile. “Izzy, I want to ask you something,” I say into her neck. I move slightly away from her, and she looks up at me.

She nods.

“I want to know when I can mark you,” I ask her, but Izzy slightly tensed at the mention of what I just asked her.

Izzy slowly moves out of my arms and turns to face me, “Blake, I want you too, I do, but,” she says and cocks her head to the side to look at me. “Can we wait till after the war? I need to have a clear head.”

I stare at her, but I nod.

She stares at me but sighs, placing her hand in mine and making me walk with her over to the bed. We both sit down; her hand never leaves mine.

“Blake, I need you to know I want to be with you as your mate and Luna,” she says with a smile; she places her other hand on my cheek and gently rubs it with her finger. I can’t help but close my eyes at her touch; it sends tingles everywhere.

“I want to wait till after the war as everything will be hard, and I know I have to use most of my power to kill the vampire but his mate, another witch. It is going to take a lot of me. I need you to fight and protect my family and be there for Allie. She is ours, and when this is all over with. I will let you mark me, and I will even agree to be your Luna, Luna to this pack, but I need to get ready for this upcoming war and so do you,” she says.

I open my eyes; Izzy looks at me, trying to search for something.

I sigh, but I give her a small smile, “That’s all I wanted, Izzy,” I say to her and move her hand from my cheek. I place it to my mouth to kiss her fingertips.

“All I want is confirmation that you will be my Luna; I can wait till after the war. We need to be more focused on it and the training we need to do,” I said, and I looked at her once more; she nodded.

I smile. “Izzy, you make me the happiest man ever. I will protect Allie with my life, but I want you to promise me something,” I say to her; she looks at me and nods, “Anything,” she says to me.

I keep my eyes on her. “Do nothing rash, please. I need you in my life. We do this as one, but I will make you a promise; I will not sacrifice myself for you, as I know you will be fine, but you don’t need to do this on our own.”

Izzy stares at me for a moment, but she smiles at me. “I promise we do this together,” she says.

Izzy moves slightly and gets up from the bed. “I think we should go; we need to do some training,” she says.

I smile at the hand she left in mine for a while. I pull her to me and place my lips on hers to give her a passionate kiss. I move away, and Izzy smiles, “That was nice, but I won’t take it easy on you when we train,” she says nearer to my mouth, but I notice the smirk.

I smirk, “Is that a bet, mate?” I ask her.

She says nothing but nods, “Oh, I bet I can take you on alpha; how about whoever wins cooks for the other one,” she says.

“I like that,” I say to her. I get up from the bed and lean into her. “But if I win, I get to have you another night in my bed.”

She smiles, but it soon goes, “What about Allie?”

I look up and around the room, but I smile when I look at Izzy. “This will be her room, and we can wait till she’s asleep,” I say to her.

She nods and smiles. “Sounds like the sound of that; I am going to beat you, Blake,” she says confidently.

We both walked out of the room and headed straight to the outside of the pack house. Everyone was waiting, but I noticed Kat and Todd talking to some people. They look like council members.

I look down at Izzy; she stares at the people surrounding Kat and Todd. I lean into her. “How about you go over to Alice and Kacey? They are going to show Allie some basics.” She looks up at me. “Allie’s training, but why?” she asks, but her eyes go back to the crowd, but she growls. “I don’t want Allie fighting Blake, but I will go over to see my daughter, as I feel uncomfortable.”

With that, she walks away. I know she is replaceing it hard to be around people, especially as most are council members.

I watch my mate as she gets nearer to Kacey and Alice. Charley walks over with Allie.

I smile, but Izzy isn’t looking at me; she glares.

I have to make this right. I walk over to the council members, but one, in particular, catches my eye; he has not once looked at me.

I look at Kat, who shrugs at me.

“Hello, I’m Blake, Alpha Derek’s son,” I say to him.

The council member looks at me but stares at me.

“I’m Tom. I am the Red Moon Pack council member,” he says.

I look at him; he was a member of the Red Moon Pack, Drake’s pack. Why on earth is he here?

Before I could say anything, I could hear some commotion behind me. I look over my shoulder, straight to where Izzy and Allie were, but it is the lady who took Allie out of the nursery when the elder tried to get her. But the woman’s face is looking this way, but she is not looking at me, she has her eyes on the man standing next to me, I mind link her “What’s wrong?” I asked her.

“Alpha, that is the man that tried to take Allie yesterday from the nursery,” she says.

“I thought you said the elder came to get her,” I say to her. Her eyes never leave the man’s features. I see what he is doing; he watches my mate and daughter.

“Alpha, it is him,” she says in a pleading voice. “He told me he was friends with Izzy and you. I knew either of you as he smelt like a Red Moon member, but Alpha, he mentioned the elder too,” she says.

I can’t help the growl that slips past my mouth and I lunge at the man.

I am on top of him on the floor, with my fist clenched.

I was about to punch him. He smirked at me. I can hear my father and Tilly telling me to get off him, but I snarl, “This piece of shit is the one who works for the Elder Johnson,” I said.

Axel is up on all fours, ready to rip the man a new asshole, but the man laughs. “You know nothing, you pathetic prick,” he says.

I wrap my hand around his throat, and I squeeze; he tries to gasp for breath.

“Why are you here?” I ask.

I can sense every pack member close by, but the man stumbles. “I…need…the…child,” he says, “They… will… kill….”

Someone comes to my side; It’s Tilly.

Axel is on the verge of coming forward and taking over.

“Young Blake, Young Alpha,” she says, “I know who he is. I will deal with him. I will get him to talk,” she says. I looked at her and loosened my hand that was around his neck.

Tilly growls at the man, “Guards, take this pathetic man to the cells, we will deal with him once we all calm down,” says Tilly, but she turns to me she places her hand over mine.

“Go to your mate; she will….” She says, but Kacey cuts her off.

“BLAKE,” she shouts.

I get up quickly and look at her. Charley was running with Allie in her arms, but Izzy was no sign.

“Kace, where is she?” I ask as she gets to me, “WHERE’S IZZY?”

Kacey looks at me. “I don’t know. One minute we were discussing what techniques that we were going to teach Allie, then all the commotion over here started,” she says.

“Daddy,” says Allie as Charley comes closer to me; Allie leans over to me and wraps her arms around my neck as I hold her.

“It’s okay, angel, I got you,” I say to her.

Allie moves slightly away and looks at me, “Daddy, mummy caught hold of a smell,” she says. “Mummy told me to tell you she can smell a bad man here.”

I look at her, Charley clears her throat, and I look at her. “Blake, there was a scent close by, but I couldn’t make out who it was. Izzy and Puna shifted, and they headed in that direction,” she says, pointing in the direction, “You need to follow her scent and replace her; I have a funny feeling about this.”

I handed Allie back to her and ran towards where Charley pointed to there was a scent there.

I couldn’t help but growl; Drake was here, but there was a familiar scent.

I don’t know who’s.

I shift into Axel; he sticks his nose into the air and catches Izzy’s scent.

We ran toward where Izzy went.

I hope we are not too late.
