In truth, Fane could understand why they were doing all of that, but he still felt like they should be more self-aware. Rudy took a deep breath, discarding those thoughts from his head.

He patted Fane on the shoulder and said, "Let's go over too. I think that we've wasted too much time on the other cities. The Radiant Hall is definitely not the only amazing place here. Other challenges are waiting for you. You'll stand to gain a lot more." Fane nodded. The two of them started to head toward the plains. The moment they got the Violet Warrant, all the rules and information about the Violet Seven Deaths Array had been sent into their minds.

The rules of the challenge were actually very simple. Three warriors would work together to enter the array. Every seven steps they took would trigger a killing array. There were a total of seven killing arrays. After going through all seven of them, one would be able to enter Violet City without any problem. If they could not, they would be tossed out without any hesitation.

They could only challenge it once, and the most important part was that the three companions were not selected by the challengers themselves. The Seven Deaths Array would randomly select each group. Every group that entered would be randomly selected from a list of names that had registered.

It meant that there was no way to predict who each other's group members were. There was a huge chance that it could be a complete stranger, a good friend, or even an enemy.

No matter who the chosen companions were, the challengers had to accept it or be viewed as having given up. There was only one chance at challenging it, so a lot of things would happen.

Some stronger warriors would be

assigned with two weaker ones. The stronger ones would definitely be unhappy about it, but they would be forced to clench their teeth and accept it. Most warriors from second-grade worlds were not happy about having to challenge the array of warriors from third-grade worlds as well.

That deep seeded disdain came from their natural contempt for warriors from third-grade worlds.

The moment Fane and Rudy entered the area, they immediately hear a loud commotion. "What did I do to deserve this? I got two pieces of trash! Just look at the two of them. Their energy isn't even stable! It's obvious they're just here dreaming about changing their destinies!" A warrior from a second-grade world in a black cloak said loudly. The two he had pointed out were both from third-grade worlds. Fane could see that they really were not not that strong, and the man in the black cloak

was comparatively stronger, but not by that much. Yet, the man

was complaining as if he had lost

out on a huge fortune!

"My fellow disciple was so lucky. He entered with two warriors of similar skill. He hasn't been kicked out after so long, so he must have passed! Why am I so unlucky to have been given these two pieces of trash?!"

The man in a black cloak got more and more emotional as he spoke. He clenched his teeth and constantly complained. The two warriors who were part of his team looked reluctant as well.

No one would want to be insulted so harshly. It was like they were not worth anything to him at all. Even though they were not that strong, it was not like he was either!

He had no right to insult them so much. Of the two of them, the thinner one who was on the left was already turning red from anger.
