Desmond sighed, "We must make sure this plan goes off smoothly. If we make any mistakes, then everything will be much harder in the future. The two of us will be blamed."

Seymour nodded. He naturally knew the severity of the matter. For the sake of this plan, the two of them had plotted for many days. They were unwilling to miss out on any details. Seymour said solemnly, "I've made arrangements. The moment Fane is spotted, the plan to target him will commence." Desmond nodded. Even though he had never seen Fane before and never had any conflicts with Fane, Fane had become a sore spot for the both of them. At that moment, footsteps were heard. The two of them looked over and saw one of Desmond's fellow disciples rushing over, "Desmond! Triton is here. He says he wants to talk to you two about something!"

Desmond raised an eyebrow, immediately understanding why Triton was there. Triton was also a warrior who stood at the peak, but he was weaker than the two of them. Even though he took part in the plan, he was not one of the leaders. He was just one of those who supported the two of them.

Before they entered, they had already assigned Triton a task. At that moment, he should be guarding the Toman Mountain with his men. Desmond sneered, "It looks like his patience has run out. It's good that he's here. It'll spare us some trouble. Compared to us, he's actually Fane's enemy."

Desmond nodded and said to his fellow disciple, "Let him in. We'll have to talk to him about this eventually anyway."

Triton was an incredibly tall man, and he looked quite decent. However, there was a vicious look about him. He walked right inside with a cold expression.

Desmond and Seymour did not get

up but instead waved for him to sit in the empty seat. Triton sat right down, and Desmond raised an

eyebrow, thinking about what to net

say.

He was interrupted by Triton before he could speak. "No need for pleasantries! Let's go straight to the point. How are you planning on

dealing with Fane?"

Desmond exchanged looks with Seymour. The two of them did not say anything. Triton was not surprised by their silence. He scoffed and said, "I know what the two of you are thinking. You should already know about the two of us. You want me to be at the helm, right?"

Desmond shook his head and

smiled before he said, "That's not true. You won't be the only one who will need to be mobilized against Fane. The two of us can't just stand by and watch. After all, he's a huge problem. I heard that your fellow disciple, Randall, is quite strong. He can be considered as one of those at the peak."

Even those at the peak had large differences between them. Randall was a warrior who stood at the peak, but he was nothing in front of Desmond. It would be very easy for him to deal with Randall.

Triton scoffed, "He's not really a

fellow disciple. We came from different clans, but you know how close we warriors from the Star Continent are. The fact that Fane embarrassed the Star Continent means that I will definitely deal with him myself. However, the two of you will need to come too! Don't use me as cannon fodder just because of our grudge!"

Desmond raised an eyebrow as he pursed his lips and shook his head, disagreeing with Triton. In truth, Triton was right. Desmond and Seymour really were planning on having Triton charge ahead. After all, Triton really did have a bone to pick with Fane.
