When he said that, Brock had a pleased smile on his face as he looked at Fane expectantly. He had thought that those ants would start trembling in fear right after he said that. That was his favorite expression.

He loved the look on the faces of those beneath him. He loved how they would be filled with fear when they realized that their fates were in his hands. Those expressions gave him a sense of fulfillment. Unfortunately, after waiting for a long time, Fane did not show any emotion other than raising his eyebrows and a look of realization.

Brock was stunned. Was that guy just really brave or was there something wrong with his head? Brock had already made things so clear, but that guy still looked calm as if it had nothing to do with him at all. Instead, the ones behind that guy had a look of complete fear on their faces after hearing what he said.

Lazlo was absolutely furious, "It looks like you really are crazy! Let me tell you, if anything happens, the responsibility is all on you. You will bear it all yourself!"

Lazlo's mouth dried as he said that. He was so angry his face was red, and he practically shouted everything out.

Even though he had said all of that, he still knew that the rest of them would be punished even though Brock would take up most of the responsibility. It was something that could not be avoided. Thinking about that caused Lazlo to get even angrier, but there was nothing he could do.

Brock's lips twitched in exasperation

when he heard that, "Can you have a bit more guts?! Do you think that these people will be able to escape our grasp? So what if they heard everything? We just need to capture them! Do you need to act so

pathetically?"

After he said that, he looked at Lazlo in disdain. He absolutely looked down on how Lazlo was acting, feeling like Lazlo was an absolute coward, and was acting nothing like a man.

Fane ignored their argument as he calmly continued to ask, "So you're currently executing a plan to open the Radiant Hall?"

What Brock said just now had already solved the mystery for Fane. That cloud that obscured Fane's sights had been lifted. Brock raised an eyebrow as he nodded.

Fane had a cold smirk on his face. Sure enough, they were ruthless. The ones behind Fane had already more or less guessed what was happening after what Brock said. On top of that, Fane mentioning the Radiant Hall made it easy for them.

Lourain glared at Brock and the

others with clenched teeth, "How many people do you need to capture? Why do you need to be so ruthless? Everything that has happened, including opening the Toman Battlefield, was all just a plot. That fake news you let out was also tounleash this slaughter! You wanted to collect a lot of Heartblood in one go with this! Aren't you afraid the others will take revenge if you do this?"

Lourain practically forced all those words out through clenched teeth. At that moment, Lourain's anger had taken over his mind. Even

%

they had already guessed that something was up, it was still different when it actually happened. That feeling of being looked down. on caused Lourain's anger to soar.
