Behind a beach of gravel was a small cave that could fit five to six people. The cave was already full at that moment. Fane sat near the entrance, and he had a small array in hand. He was looking at it closely.

The array belonged to Kent. He had clutched it tightly the whole time, even in death. Fane decided to pick it up to look at it when he spotted it. At that moment, the green spot that was on the array had turned red. The number on it was still seven.

Fane looked at it for a long time, but could not figure anything out. However, he felt like it should indicate something important. Otherwise, Kent would not have held it so tightly. At that moment, Maxcus' voice was heard, "It looks like an array, but I don't know what it's for." Fane nodded slightly, he felt that way as well, "If they're using it here, it must have something to do with their task."

Lourain looked over with a frown, "Could it be used to determine their location? I am guessing the number on top is to note down how many they have captured?"

Lourain had just been randomly guessing, but Fane had heard it. Fane suddenly looked up with a serious expression. After a long time, he decisively decided to destroy that array.

If it could really be used to determine one's location, then the array would just be like a tracking device if he continued to carry it.

At a cave in the center of the Toman Battlefield, four people looked at the Vermillion Tune Formation with stiff faces and unblinking eyes.

They had just witnessed a red spot disappearing. It meant that someone had destroyed a small array. Desmond clenched his fist, "It has to be him! I was right, he really is inside!" Pascal blinked, "Desmond, are you sure?"

Pascal felt like it was hard to be sure without seeing it for themselves, but Desmond seemed adamant.

Desmond frowned as he said

unhappily, "It's not like you didn't see what happened. Four green dots were together. It means that the four of us were temporarily in an alliance to hunt their prey. Yet, it didn't take too long for one of the spots to turn réd. Right after that, the other three turned red too.

"Surely I don't need to explain what that means. Everyone we sent in is an above-average warrior that is considered quite strong. Who else can get rid of four of them so quickly? "Hurry up and relay the news to Triton. Have him forget about what he's doing at the moment and go look into the situation. The moment he can confirm that it's Fane, we'll act immediately!"

As he said that, Desmond had an excited tone to his voice.

Fane was like an eyesore to him. He had thought that he would only be able to get news about Fane in the last few days. Yet, Fane was found on just the first day. If they were able to deal with that guy, then things would be much easier!

Pascal sighed as he stopped himself from speaking. He felt like it was not certain that all four of them died to Fane. After all, they could not tell if those four died to a single person or a whole group.

If they had died to a group, then it

was not much of a surprise. Seymour obviously felt that way as well. Paseal did not dare to voice it out, but Seymour did not need to hold back since he was at the same rank as Desmond.
