After all, he was the first to have tried the test so far. There were still twenty-eight participants. Mason felt like he had been dealt a heavy blow mentally. He struggled to straighten his body as he clenched his fist tightly. That eager expression he had on his face completely disappeared. At that moment, he looked like a deflated balloon. Right then, someone started to laugh. That laughter was filled with unbridled mockery. Fane looked over to see a man with dragon-patterned clothes looking at Mason with a mocking expression.

Mason's lips stiffened, and his expression darkened. Before he even said anything, the man who advised Mason to stop suddenly stepped forward and said, "Gulden, you really are so annoying all the time! Even if Mason's results aren't that amazing, so what? Regular warriors make up most of the world. What are you trying to laugh at?!"

Gulden scoffed as he looked at that person in disdain, "Jerald, can you stop trying to act like you're such a good person?! I'm laughing at him not because of his skill, but because of how he was acting like such an amazing warrior earlier. I thought he'd be able to get some decent results, but he ended up being such a joke."

Jerald's face stiffened as he stepped forward and pulled out his weapon, but Mason stopped him. Mason was naturally furious at Gulden's words, and he wanted to rip Gulden apart, but he knew that they could not attack there.

Warriors that attacked in the restricted areas would immediately be turned to ashes. That was a rule regardless of who you were or if you were in the right. The moment Jerald was pulled back, he realized that he had been impulsive. He clenched his teeth and looked at Gulden, "You'll get your dues!"

Gulden already heard many such curses before, so he did not even bat an eyelid. He merely scoffed before he looked at Mason in disdain.

Fane and Loukain watched on from

behind. From the conversation, it was obvious that the two sides had their prior grievances before, and it

If

was no small one either were

not in a restricted area, they would probably have started fighting.

Fane suddenly felt like the Whirling World was a place where there were fights everywhere. The short fight did not last for that long before another participant started to attract everyone's attention.

He used up alkhis strength as well,

but he failed to even match Mason.

At the very least, Mason had managed to light the second vortex up slightly. This person only managed to fill up the first vortex. The second vortex did not even light up.

That person's name quickly appeared, and Mason was still in the first place. However, that person had one point just the same. He was just ranked behind Mason. After just one person took the test, it was

over

impossible to tell how hard it was. However, after two people did,

everyone started to have an

estimate of the difficulty.

Quite a few of their faces darkened, feeling like this test was too hard. Seeing that he was still in first place for the moment, Mason was in a much better mood. At the very least, he was not bad enough that he was in last place. He coughed as he looked at his result, slowly saying, "What can you use points for? It feels very hard to get."
