As he said that, Gulden's gaze was firmly fixated on Lourain. He looked like he wanted to rip Lourain apart.

Lourain's lips curled up as he let out a smile of disdain. "You can say whatever you want. I've heard so many threats before, but all those who've threatened me have perished. You warriors from the Star Continent just love to threaten everyone you see. You make all sorts of threats. By the way, didn't you threaten that Fane you mentioned earlier too? It even happened more than once. What happened in the end? You lost so badly to Fane, and now you're stuck conspiring with others against him. Honestly, I think you should just save the effort. Otherwise, you might even replace yourselves all dead in the end. If that happens, no one will help you anymore."

Those words felt like a knife digging right into Gulden's heart. Gulden got so angry that his face started to pale. He clenched his fists so tightly that they started to shake. He had never felt that much rage before. He felt like he was being grilled alive. It was so bad that he felt like he was about to explode.

Everyone else gasped deeply after hearing what Lourain had said. Even though they agreed with him, those words were definitely aggravating to Gulden. If they were in Gulden's shoes, they would surely explode in anger.

Looking at how Gulden was acting, he seemed very close to a mental breakdown. They wondered where that guy came from to be so gutsy. Did he think he was Fane? To think he would dare to face the Star Continent like that. It was as if he did not care about his own life.

Furthermore, Gulden said that death would be a reward. The moment that guy fell into Gulden's hands, a terrible fate awaited him. Compared to Gulden, who seemed to be at his limits, Lourain was completely different. As Lourain said all of that, he had a completely nonchalant attitude. It was as if he was not afraid of retribution from the Star Continent at all.

It was as if the warriors of the Star Continent were nothing in his eyes. If the people there had not looked into his strength, they would have wondered if he was a warrior at the peak. Otherwise, there was no way he would be so bold.

Gulden was so furious that he

started to hyperventilate, and his heart was beating so hard that it hurt. He gulped. His eyes were already bloodshot, and he seemed like he was about to go crazy. Yet, Lourain decided to egg him on at that exact moment. "Why do you look like this? It's as if I've framed you or something. If you aren't happy with what I said, why don't you tell me where exactly I was wrong?"

Gulden suddenly widened his eyes. What was that guy saying? Is he insinuating that Gulden should make a rebuttal if he was unhappy with what was said? That guy was acting as if he was some important person. Gulden was already so furious that hewas starting to feel numb.

His skills were clearly just in between those of a regular warrior and an above average warrior. That was nothing in front of Gulden, yet the man spoke so arrogantly as if he was someone important and amazing. Gulden's lips twitched. At that moment, he finally looked at the man in front of him properly,

el?

"Looking at what you're wearing, you must be from a third-grade world?"

Gulden practically shouted that out. Lourain raised an eyebrow. Naturally, he was not, but he did hope that he was at that moment. So, he nodded without even thinking about it.

Lourain was from a second-grade world. Even though he was nothing special in his world, he was still from a second-grade world and had always been proud of that fact. Yet, he had slowly abandoned the thought ever since he met Fane.
