Lourain sneered as he continued, "Everyone, don't forget that Fane has his conflicts against those warriors at the peak. There are only so many of the best resources. They don't want Fane taking away any of it.

"On top of that, Fane doesn't have an amazing background. Even if they deal with Fane, they won't be in much trouble as long as Fane dies. That's why they're trying to get rid of Fane. However, they don't want to do it themselves. Getting rid of Fane would require a lot of risk on their part after all.

"Fane is truly one of the warriors at the peak! So, they're trying to make the masses get angry. They want to use you as their pawn! You're becoming cannon fodder!"

Lourain's words woke everyone up. All of the warriors there immediately realized that Mason's actions had definitely been strange before, and this was the perfect explanation. No wonder Mason acted like he was so sympathetic to the regular warriors, but he immediately denied everything when the newcomer said a few words, trying to act like he did nothing.

He was just a dog working for the warriors at the peak, and he was trying to turn all of them into pawns to go against the enemy of people like Desmond. They had seen similar tricks before, using the masses and causing them to kill one another.

A tall warrior pushed aside the warriors in front of him as he walked right in front of Lionel. Before he had seen through what Lionel was doing, that person had been incredibly angry at Fane thanks to Lionel's encouragement.

both died on the Toman Battlefield. That caused him a lot of pain, but a lot of anger as well. He had listened to everything Lionel said during Lionel's passionate speech, and with Lionel's words, he started to hate those shameless and despicable

warriors at their peak.

He wanted his revenge, he wanted those people to pay the price. After everything was clear, that person finally realized that the one he thought was on his side was just a dog working for those shameless and despicable people. It had all just been an act before this, meant to fool them. The tall man clenched his teeth as he glared at Lionel. He looked like he wanted to rip Lionel apart.

He pointed right at Lionel, "You dog!

How dare you say that Fane's on the same side as those people! You're clearly the one working for them! Someone as despicable as you deserve more than just being ripped apart! You tried to use us against Fane! How despicable!"

He was so angry even his heart started to hurt. Everything those people did constantly crossed the line. He thought their actions from before were already shameless and despicable enough, and that they would hold back after angering the masses. Yet, they got worse instead!

Even when they did not need Heartblood anymore, they were still trying to use the masses as pawns and cannon fodder. If not for the place being a restricted area, he would have fought to the death!

Even if he could not beat Lionel, he would make sure to take a chunk out of Lionel! The others were the same. All their anger at Fane just now was directed right at Lionel.
