The Supreme Man: Took Everything in Power -
Chapter 673 The Anger Of Jarett!
"Rest assured, Reene. I'll take swift action," he assured her before ending the call. He then made his way toward Baron and the rest, declaring, "Come on, Mr. Howe. Let's get drunk!" Meanwhile, Reene returned to Victoria's office and smiled, asking, "Victoria, do you think the swelling on my face has subsided?"
Meanwhile, a somber atmosphere enveloped the Cole Gang. Jarett stared at the two blood-soaked sacks on the ground and uttered in a chilling tone, "This... is Cain?!" The members of the Cole Gang quivered in fear and responded, "Yes... Boss Jarett, this... This is Cain."
"What happened?!" Jarett clenched his fists, his facial muscles twitching uncontrollably.
Even through his small, round sunglasses, one could sense the fiery rage burning in his eyes.
Although Cain was only his nephew, they still shared a familial bond. The fact that his blood relative had been mercilessly murdered stoked the flames of anger within him. Was this not like dragging a knife across his face, inflicting a deep wound upon his very being?
"Boss Jarett..." one of them spoke softly, his voice filled with trepidation. "Today, Cain led us in a kidnapping operation. He said it was revenge for an incident at the Bellamy Golf Manor entrance, where he was injured. B-But the person he targeted brought Advisor Shane with her. They were armed, and we were outnumbered. Cain... Cain was then killed."
This piece of information was significant, and even Jarett took a while to react. His face hardened with a stern expression. "When you mentioned Advisor Shane, are you talking about Kenny Shane?"
The gang member nodded, anxiety evident in his eyes. "Yes, Boss Jarett. Kenny has decided to leave the Cole Gang and form his faction from today onwards." The gang member swallowed nervously and glanced at Jarett's expression as he continued, "He also mentioned that once his new faction is established, he might extend an invitation to you for a celebratory drink..."
Bang!
Jarett's fist slammed on the table with a resounding thud, his anger palpable. "That damn Kenny! Not only did he take Cain's life, but he also dared to betray the Cole Gang! Unforgivable!" His icy gaze fixed on the gang member as he demanded, "Tell me, how did Cain get beaten up at Bellamy Golf Manor?"
The gang member trembled uncontrollably, fear evident in their voice as they hurriedly explained, "That day, at the entrance of the manor, a person called Nicholson provoked Cain. Then, out of nowhere, Wendell from the Black Boxer Gang appeared and launched a sudden attack, kicking Cain and causing him injuries... So, we had to rush him to the hospital..."
When Rupert informed Cain about Kingsley possessing the Northern Draken Tag, they had a private conversation. Therefore, none of these gang members were aware of Kingsley's possession of the Northern Draken Tag.
Jarett paced back and forth, his hands clasped behind his back. "Who is this Nicholson?"
"According to what I heard from Kenny, he calls him Boss Nicholson. And that day at the manor, he seemed to be one of Baron's subordinates." The gang member scratched his head. "Could Kenny have joined hands with Baron? That's why he's so polite to Baron's men?"
Hearing this, Jarett raised an eyebrow immediately. "Kenny betrayed the Cole Gang to befriend Baron?! Has he lost his mind?!"
At that moment, a middle-aged man with metal-framed glasses piped up, "Boss Jarett, allow me to explain."
This man's name was Albert, and he was also one of the advisors in the Cole Gang. However, while Kenny was still around, he firmly held the position of the top strategist, leaving Albert with no opportunity to shine.
It was only recently, after some discord arose between Kenny and Jarett, that he gradually gained Jarett's favor.
Upon hearing Albert's words, Jarett narrowed his eyes and said, "Oh? Mr. Radcliff, why don't you explain what all this means?"
