No one knew who had turned off the lights on this side of the room. However, the darkness cut off the noise and excitement the others were making. There were only sounds of the two's breathing overlapping one another. It was low and shallow, clear yet rapid. After a long time, someone in the entertainment area won the card game and shouted in excitement.:

Suzy regained her sense with some surprise and abruptly stopped. Her whole face flushed red, and she lowered her head to cover it up.

George pressed her waist and waited for the restlessness in her body to subside before he said in a low voice, "If another guest had asked the same thing of you, would you have agreed?" Suzy frowned. Her voice sounded hoarse and slightly annoyed as she said, "I'm not a hostess."

"Then what are you doing here?" The man's voice sounded sullen. "Do you truly think that being a server here means your safety is ensured? Go around and ask those who work with you. Ask them what kind of relationship they have with the guests in the private rooms they're in charge of!"

Suzy had come to understand a couple of things after being here in the past few days. For example, the relationship between Luna and Calvin was ambiguous. They were not hired as hostesses, but they could make extra money when they met generous customers.

She blinked and said calmly in response, "I can protect myself!" George pinched her chin with a worried expression. "Do you think you can protect yourself: just by knowing how to fight? How much do you know about the shady methods of those men in private?" Under the dark light, Suzy's clear eyes were calm as she said slowly, "I'll be careful." George took a deep breath and said in a low voice, "Quit your job here and come back to give lessons to Ean instead. I'll give you three times your salary." Suzy could not help but laugh. "If you let Ean take extra lessons during his summer vacation, he'll hate you!"

"Then you can play with him. Hasn't he always wanted to learn archery from you? Just teach him that!

Suzy felt her heart turning soft. She slowed her voice down further. "I'll only be working here this summer vacation, I'll resign right after." "No, quit the job right now!" the man said in a non-negotiable tone. Seeing the man being so domineering, Suzy could not help but say in annoyance, "Why should I listen to you? The thing between us is over. We no longer have any relationship! George narrowed her eyes. "Who told you that it's over? Did I agree to it? The agreement is for both parties. Since I didn't agree to it, what you say doesn't count!" Suzy's eyes widened in anger. The man let out a low chuckle and lowered his head to kiss her, Suzy turned her head away, and her tone became lighter as she said, "I'm not your pet, George

Laine. You'll come over and coax me whenever you're happy, but you'll blatantly ignore me when you're not. We need each other, and we're equals." George narrowed his eyes slightly and squeezed her chin tightly. He said in a low voice, "You said that we need each other. Then do you need me?" Suzy frowned and looked at him, completely puzzled. "Answer me. Do you need me?" The man stared at her for a moment. He raised his hand to caress her eyebrows and said slowly, "I was the one who kept going over. You've never taken the initiative to look for me. As long as you need me, even if I'm in Marriot or the skies, I'll immediately fly back to your bedside!" Suzy was taken aback, and her face quickly flushed red. She did not know whether she was embarrassed or angry. The man lowered his head and approached slowly. His gaze became softer as his voice turned gentle. "Let's stop fighting, mm? Let's make up." Suzy's initially cold and dry heart was swept by the breeze, and in an instant, it became happy and soft. The man's warm lips fell on hers as they started to kiss deeply.

Suzy's long eyelashes trembled, and she slowly closed her eyes. The estrangement and indifference they shared during this period of time disappeared in this deep kiss.

It was different from earlier. The man's kiss was now hot and emotional. Suzy soon noticed the man's oddness and began to struggle.

There were still other people in the private room. Even if they could not see clearly, they were still within others' line of sight.

George stopped, and his breathing was unstable. He looked at her with a deep gaze, and his voice was hoarse, "Did you miss me?"

Suzy felt suffocated, and the depths of her eyes were filled with darkness. She fixed her gaze on his eyes and pursed her lips silently.

How could George even stand such a stare from her? His whole body grew tense, and he hugged her waist tightly. He said in a low voice, "Let's go home, mm?" Suzy frowned. "I'm still working."
