The Three Little Guardian Angels -
Chapter 2609
Chapter 2609
Leah drank her entire glass in one go and poured another.
The two friends wanted to dance and tried to bring her along, but she waved. "No, you go ahead."
"Wait for us here then." They walked to the dance floor.
Leah drank all the beer on the bar top and ordered more beer, and continued drinking to numb herself. However, no matter how much she drank, her mind still went to Zephir. Her heart ached terribly.
Leah stumbled toward the ladies' room and started throwing up when she got to the toilet. She then started crying.
She stayed there for a while before leaving with her makeup smudged. She stumbled her way back to her seat when two drunk men bumped into her, and she fell to the floor. Her head was spinning so violently she couldn't get up.
The two men looked at her, realized she was a drunk woman, and started scheming.
They helped her up and were going to bring her away when she started fighting back. "I don't want to leave with you. I don't know you. Get your hands off me!"
The server who walked past saw them. One of the men smiled and said, "I'm sorry, my friend had too many."
Leah was dragged away by the men. She stomped her feet in protest, but her heels flew off.
The two men didn't pick them up for her and continued dragging her toward the elevator.
At that moment, someone in a coat who looked handsome walked over and picked up her heels. "Wait.”
The two men froze, then turned around.
The man in the coat waved the heels around. "Aren't you going to pick them up?"
They looked at each other and realized that one of them should go get..em.
One of the men walked over, but the man put the shoes behind him. "I don't think he's your girlfriend. Are you trying to bring her home because she's drunk?" "What are you saying?"
The men didn't look happy.
The man in the coat chuckled. "She's wearing designer clothes, and the heels I'm holding cost thousands. I'm guessing she's from a wealthy family. I don't think girls from wealthy families would be interested in men like you."
The man immediately looked upset and tried to grab the shoes, but the other man grabbed his wrist and twisted it. The man yelled out in pain and sobered up.
The other man who was holding Leah could tell that this man wasn't someone they could mess with, so he pushed her away and ran. Leah fell to the floor. The man whose wrist was twisted scuttled away too.
Morrison Shaw walked toward Leah, bent down, and put her shoes back on. "Are you awake, lady?"
Leah looked up, and her head was still spinning. Her eyes were blurry, so she couldn't see his face clearly.
He helped her up, but Leah suddenly cried, "I want to go home."
Morrison clicked his tongue. "Such a hassle. Where do you live?" Leah paused. "I forgot."
Morrison slapped his forehead. 'How much did this woman drink?
'No, why do I have to take care of her? I can just hand her over to the servers, and I will be free.
'But what the heck? I should finish what I started.'
Morrison walked out of the bar with Leah, who stood there while he went to get his car.
He was planning to send this drunkard to the police station so that they could send her home.
