"Alright, let's go now," Shakira said.

Watching helplessly as his family's reputation was being stomped on by Shakira and Walter, Cody felt a surge of anger. But before he could act, Walter turned a little and gave him a cold look.

"Mr. Nelson, if you keep bothering the Lopez family, I won't care about any past connections between our families," Walter

Jasmin's eyes flickered. He had previously helped Shakira look into some things, so he could guess a few details vaguely. But seeing Sean's puzzled expression, he understood. Shakira still hadn't told this clueless guy about her relationship with Walter. Not long after, Shakira finally came out and went straight into the Maybach with Walter.

Sean got anxious and shouted, "Jasmin, what are you just standing there for? Get in the car and follow them. Shakira has been taken away."

Jasmin held the steering wheel with a laid-back attitude. "We can't follow them. Do you know how good Walter's security team is at counter-surveillance? I don't want to mess with the Lopez family."

"Damn!" Sean exclaimed, his anger palpable. "I mean, what's Walter doing here, and why is Shakira going along with him so willingly? Could Walter be involved in this, or does he have some sort of hold over Shakira?"

Listening to Sean mumbling, Jasmin couldn't help but feel doubtful. He assumed that anyone working with Shakira, even if not as smart, shouldn't be so clueless.

Yet, this well-known chairman of Yonder Digital seemed... not quite all there.

In the police station, only the tired and grief-stricken family remained, along with Yvette herself, now with a prominent handprint on her cheek.

"Shakira just walked away like that? You let her go just like that? What about Mitchell? Does my poor Mitchell have to die just like that?" Rebecca couldn't take the shock anymore and just fainted.

"Mom!" Yvette quickly supported the collapsing Rebecca, while Cody rushed to steady his wife on his shoulder.

Mitchell was really in trouble.

Before Rebecca knew it, tears started to fall down her face again. She no longer cried out loud but silently.

Yvette started crying too. "Mom, please don't cry. It hurts me to see you this way, and Mitchell would be sad too."

Seeing Rebecca unmoved, Yvette continued to comfort her, "I even asked Joe and Berry to keep an eye out for any news. Their family has connections at the hospital, and if someone saved Mitchell, they would definitely get him to a hospital. They promised to let us know as soon as they heard anything.

"Plus, the White family's global info network is unbeatable. They'll replace Mitchell safe and sound soon, and we'll all be reunited soon."

Cody, sitting on the other side, turned to give Yvette a deep look.

After the butler took Yvette back to her room to rest, Felix let out a long sigh. Turning back, he gazed at his silent parents in the car with a serious expression and finally voiced the concern he hadn't dared to share in front of his parents and sister, "Finn, do you think Mitchell is already..."

Finn kept a calm expression and said quietly, "No matter the scenario, we need to be ready."

He didn't want to address that topic directly.

He still held onto a shred of hope, even if... it seemed impossible.

Finn said, "I'll make sure to keep an eye on what Yvette just mentioned. You have better connections at the hospital, so pay more attention to that side."

Felix nodded firmly. "I know."

Finn said, "I'll bring Yosef and Jayden back too. With Mitchell not around, Mom's emotions are unstable, and having family together would be better."
