His words made Brittany feel like her chest was about to explode with fury, her heart ached from theexasperation.

"Aiden, the value of these ten herbs is at least 1.5 billion. But since you're pretty and we're so fated,I'll give you a discount—just one million for the lot!"

Brittany couldn't help but burst into laughter. The same pile of herbs he offered to her for a hundredthousand, he was now pitching to Aiden for a million—a tenfold increase in price.

Apparently, the country boy wasn't completely heartless. At least, in this round, Brittany feltvictorious.

Upon hearing his offer, Aiden was infuriated, her chest tightening with anger.
