Elisha's

POV:

As soon as the wolves left, I quickly disposed of the high priestess's body. And what better way to do that than to burn it? In the depths of the wood, I looked for branches and placed them above the body. When I almost covered her body with wood, I lit up the match, and the flame soon erupted. I watched as the flames engulfed her, quickly turning her into ashes. As the wind picked up, it carried away the ashes, and I felt a gentle whisper as it passed by me.

See you on the other side. Even in death, the high priestess gave her warning.

If she thinks that I will be joining her soon, I don't think so.

Not even those wolves will be able to stop me now. Once they start wearing the amulets, they will gradually absorb their strength, and by the time we attack, they will not have enough strength to fight thousands of rogues. I couldn't wait to commence this plan, but first, I need to know if Boris could gather more wolves to be on our side. With that, I left the forest to return to their pack village.

When I reached the village, I was completely surprised by the number of wolves there. I didn't expect Boris to be able to gather this much in a short amount of time. So, I quickly went to Boris' house. And in the center of his house, I saw the other Alphas - which I dare to believe - huddled together.

"Oh, perfect timing! The witch is back." Boris announced to the circle. Everyone just turned and looked at me with skeptical eyes.

"And who might they be, Boris?" I looked at each one of them. Most of them are men around their 40s to 50s. Their faces looked strong and mostly covered by facial hair, and there seemed to be noticeable battle scars. But their body doesn't seem fit for a fight. Where did Boris even get these men?

"My friends have friends. And they were willing to lend a hand for the greater good. So, here we are." He said to me and turned his attention to the men in the room. "And this...this is the witch I was talking about. She will lead us to victory with her potions and magic."

/ A look of amazement was on their faces, and then they started introducing themselves. From Boris' right, we have Frederick, Agustus, Mitchell, Samuel, and Andres. Each has members or followers of more than a thousand wolves, and they hide from different parts of the country - North, South, East, and West. From time to time, they move into smaller groups to avoid being tracked. That's how they heard about Boris' call for help - a group ran into Boris, and he tried to recruit them.

"So, how many are we in total?"

"We're roughly around 6,000. And I believe more are coming. Therefore, you may expect an army of more than 8,000 wolves in two days."

"Very well. That will do. Once they are here, we shall commence with our plan. For now..." I looked around these men once again. "You may eat and rest with everyone else.

Strengthen your men and prepare them for what's to come."

Just like what Boris said, more rogues came the next day.

Since the territory is small for the thousands of wolves, some started to camp in the different parts of the forest. I am just glad that we reside in the woods, so there are plenty of other animals to hunt, or else it would be problematic for us to feed so many people. I was at Boris house with the five men I had met before.

And there were new faces in the group. One of the individuals is a younger Alpha named Simon, estimated to be in his 30s, while the other person - Erroll - is approximately the same age as the remaining five individuals. Jasper was also among the individuals in the meeting room.

"Today, the other packs arrived with Simon and Erroll leading them here. The rest of the army will arrive tonight or tomorrow morning," Boris said.

"Then, we will be ready to attack."

"Yes. Once everyone has settled in, we can proceed as planned."

"What was the plan again?" Jasper asked. He was here the longest, but he's the one who doesn't seem to know anything. I glared at him as a warning. And he just raised his eyebrows and shrugged.

"We will be divided into groups. Each group will be positioned at different locations - in the mountains, the sea through boats, and the land. The goal is to eradicate as much of their army and have them defenseless on all sides. Once we have immobilized the enemies, we shall meet at the center - the kingdom's palace." I said as I pointed a finger at the location of the palace on the map.

"This is where the real battle will begin. The king will most likely be here."

"But with this many people, they would surely notice us." Jasper continued to get under my skin by asking these questions that we have discussed answers to a couple of times already.

"That's where the potions and magic come in. Before we leave this place, I will distribute the potions I made, and everyone must spray them onto their necks, wrists, and elbows. And I will cast a spell on everyone so you can camouflage yourselves based on the location or environment you will be assigned. But time would also be of the essence to us. I am unsure how long the spell would last."

"What do you mean? I thought you were powerful." If not for being the son of Boris, I would have killed Jasper a long time ago.

"Well, I haven't tried it out with this large number of wolves.

That is why once you have reached the territory, make sure to remove their defenses immediately. Understood, Jasper?

Or is there anything else you want to ask?"

"Everything is clear, madam." He stood up to leave but halted as soon as he was at the door. "Oh, one last thing. How will we know that the potion would work?"

"As the first person who experienced using the potion, shouldn't you know the answer to that?" I said with a smirk.

And I saw the glint in his eyes. Touche. He left without saying another word to me or the circle.

"Would the others have anything to clear up?"

"Nope. We are all good."

"Then, we will meet tomorrow to finalize the details once the other Alpha arrives."

Soon, everyone left Boris' house and went on their own way

- to gather food, rest, and inform their members about the plan. As for me, I returned to the cave and created the remaining batch of potions for the wolves. Tss. I recalled Jasper's last question. How would we know if it works? It was irritating to question my capabilities. Oh, Jasper, all of them would know. And you will be the first one to experience my new version of the potion. These potions are different from the last time. The moment they sprayed the potion, their wolves would go berserk like a virus went into their brain and made them go crazy. They will have no sense of control and mindfulness - all they will want to do is spill blood on the land. They will be hungry for blood and to take life away from those breathing.

That evening, I was able to complete the last batch of potions. Finally, my work of art is completed! By far, this is the most powerful potion I ever made. I am almost there.

Just a little bit more, and I will take over this land. Once the others arrive tomorrow, I will begin distributing these potions and teaching the wolves how to use them and what parts of the body to spray them for more effectiveness. "You finally did it." I was surprised by Jasper's voice.

"What are you doing here? Haven't you had enough?" The irritation was obvious in my tone.

"Woah there! I was trying to help you. No reason to be mad at me."

"Trying to help me? Tss. We both know help is the least you want to do with me."

"Yeah, it looked like you needed it. Those Alphas were not entirely convinced of your power, you know. Didn't you notice the look on their faces? I bet they are already planning to eat you alive after they are done with the royals."

"As if they could. And I don't need your help. I could have handled it on my own. I don't need anyone, most especially you, for any protection."

"Tss. Fine. Whatever. Don't tell me I didn't warn you."

"If you have nothing better to do or say, I suggest you leave now."

He left with a smirk on his face. Jasper is the least of my problems now. With everything almost set, I wouldn't let him destroy the current excitement I have. Oh, how I can't wait for that day to come. Two more days. My once dream will finally come true!
