Cory's POV:

*Three Years Later*

The atmosphere is bustling with activity today, as the maids and butlers assist with decorating, the kitchens work hard to prepare delicious foods, and the rest of the staff is busy arranging the venue. And I am not yet even halfway done with the paperwork! I couldn't believe it was noon as I glanced at the clock. Time had flown by so quickly! I should get back to get dressed already. I quickly tidied the documents on my desk and returned to the chateau. As soon as I stepped into our home, I went upstairs to our room, where Brandon and his team were waiting.

"Your Majesty! We're glad you are here."

"I am truly sorry for being late. I lost track of time."

"No worries, Your Majesty. We will make it on time."

As I sat there, they gently washed my hair, massaging my scalp in the process. Once clean, they carefully dried it and applied a luxurious hair coat to protect it from the heat. The others rushed to start applying my makeup - a natural look.

I was relaxed, but I soon heard a noise outside.

"Princess, we should go back to your room. You still need to..."

Then, the door flung open, and an adorable voice shouted,

"Mommy!" The sound of pattering little feet echoed through the room, their tiny steps making a playful rhythm on the creaky wooden floor.

"Hi, my princess." I greeted her as soon as she was in front of me.

"Wow, mommy! So pwetty! Can I put some makeup on, too?"

"Aww, honey. But you're so pretty already."

"Please, mommy!" I couldn't help but giggle as she looked at me with her adorable round blue eyes and pouty lips.

Like any mother, who could resist such cuteness? So, I asked Brandon to put a pat of powder on my little princess' cheeks.

"All done, Princess! You looked extra wonderful!" Brandon said. And my daughter blushed at the compliment. We couldn't stop laughing at the way she reacted. It was adorable!

Before long, the maid whisked my little girl away to her room to get dolled up. My daughter was quite a handful, especially when she started to crawl and walk. Lucas and I were always on our toes, afraid our daughter would bump her head or trip on the floor. And now, she can steadily walk on her own. Years passed by quickly. Come to think of it, it's been three years since the kingdom fought and won the war.

*Cory reminiscing*

The kingdom came together in the aftermath of the war, determined to rebuild and bring back a sense of normalcy to their lives and businesses. After the funeral, Silas felt a deep sense of loss and longing. He knew he had to leave the kingdom behind to replace solace and purpose. And so, a few weeks later, he embarked on a journey to another land.

We were heartbroken when he decided, but we wanted the best for him. With Silas gone, I stepped up to the plate and took over his role. From that day on, I worked hand in hand with Lucas to support the kingdom and other packs.

At the moment, my work is limited to desk jobs and council meetings. According to Miranda, I have to take it easy and not cause too much strain on my body because it will take a toll on my body once I give birth. Then, a few months later, we welcomed our little pup, Lola Adelaide Dacre, into the world. From the moment Lola was born, I knew she would be special. Her light brown hair and bright blue eyes looked exactly like my mother's. Lola's birth brought immense happiness and celebration throughout the kingdom. Our baby girl was born and instantly became our cherished bundle of joy.

*End of reminiscing*

After a few hours, Brandon and his team worked their magic on my hair and makeup, leaving me looking absolutely stunning! Looking at the clock, I realized I was running late for today's event. Without wasting time, I swiftly slipped into my gorgeous white dress Miranda of La Femme made. The dress was made of silk dupioni, and I loved the details Miranda put into it - the v-neckline with spaghetti straps, the princess cut, and the floor length.

Perfect for my coronation and our wedding!

Everything was postponed before due to a matter of timing.

My coronation was postponed several times. The timing was not right at that time - the kingdom's reconstruction, the mountain of paperwork, and my labor. As for the proposal, Lucas had already prepared the ring before I landed in the kingdom. He was planning to ask for my hand in marriage after we marked each other. However, a lot has happened, and the timing was off again. Lucas eventually proposed to me. My heart was racing as he got down on one knee under the full moon's light, asking me to spend the rest of my life with him during a magical picnic in the mountains. And as for the wedding, it was our last priority, given that we had a child to care for. So, we decided for both ceremonies to be held today.

Today is the day. And in a few hours, I would be Queen and Mrs. Dacre - it was all surreal. With all the preparation finished, I was ready to go down. A bridal car was waiting for me at our home's entrance, ready to transport me to the garden. The coronation and wedding will take place amidst the breathtaking beauty of the palace gardens. Upon settling in the back seat of the car, I immediately sensed my heart racing with a blend of anticipation and anxiety.

Breathe in, breathe out, Cory. Hotah said in comfort.

I am just a little nervous, Hotah.

Really? A little? I smiled at her sarcasm.

As we approached the garden entrance, excitement bubbled up inside me, and I was in complete awe as I saw what the event stylist did to this place. The garden walkway was a beautiful sight to behold, with a multitude of different flowers in varying hues. The trees were lit with delicate string lights, creating a magical atmosphere. At the end of the path, there stood a charming gazebo, adding to the enchanting ambiance of the garden. I stepped out of the car upon the coordinator's signal and slowly walked down the aisle. Canon D was playing in the background, and my eyes were focused on the undeniably gorgeous man I had ever met. "You look absolutely beautiful, my love," Lucas spoke through the mind link.

"Thank you. And you, too! I love what I am seeing."

"Should I wear a tux every day? I think yes, especially with how you look at me now."

The excitement of the ceremonies was still in the air, but our minds had already wandered about our upcoming honeymoon. As soon as I reached the pavilion, Lucas offered his hand out to me, and we both faced the altar. As the priest began officiating our wedding, my heart was racing excitedly. Suddenly, he leaned in close and whispered something in my ear. "Relax, love. We have plenty of time on our honeymoon." He chuckled and straightened his body. D*mn it! He might have smelled my arousal from seeing him in a tux. "Dearly beloved, we have come together to join Lucas Dacre and Corry Hemmings in Holy Matrimony...Lucas Dacre, do you take Cory Hemmngs to be your lawful wife, to have and hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health,

until death do you part?"

"I do."

"Cory Hemmings, do you take Lucas Dacre to be your lawful wife, to have and hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death

do you part?"

The wedding ceremony was a beautiful and emotional affair, filled with tears of joy and laughter. Despite the nerves and excitement in the air, we exchanged their vows with unwavering love and commitment.

"Our distinguished guests, our respected council members who are here this afternoon, members of the royal court, ladies and gentlemen, aside from the Holy Matrimony, we are gathered here to witness the coronation ceremony of Cory Hemmings Dacre..."

The Archbishop, accompanied by several high-ranking officials, including the Lord Chancellor, Lord Great Chamberlain, Lord High Constable, and the Earl Marshal, walked all four sides of the garden, starting with the East and moving on to the South, West, and North sides.

Meanwhile, I stood by the late Queen's chair, turning and showing myself to the people. After, the ceremony proceeded - I placed my oath, I was anointed, they invested the Armills, the Stole Royal, and the Robe Royal, and delivered the orb. And then, with a grand flourish, they placed the magnificent crown atop my head, instantly transforming me into royalty.

The air was charged with excitement as both ceremonies came to a close, and the crowd erupted into a thunderous cheer that echoed through the halls.

"LONG LIVE THE KING AND QUEEN!"

The festivities concluded with an amazing celebration where we all indulged in delicious food, refreshing drinks, and great company. Lucas and I shared an unforgettable moment as we took to the dance floor for the first time as husband and wife. However, we were interrupted by a certain little someone.

"I want to dance with Daddy, too!" Lola's request brought a smile to both of our faces. We couldn't help but chuckle at her adorable plea.

"It is my pleasure, princess."

I can't help but feel an overwhelming sense of happiness just looking at them. As I was standing there, I suddenly felt a tap on my shoulder. When I turned around, I was pleasantly surprised to see an old friend of ours.

"Your Majesty." Silas bowed as he greeted me. And alongside him was a stunning young

woman.

"Silas! It is wonderful to see you! How have you been?" My face can't help but beam with a

smile!

"I am doing great, Your Majesty."

"I am glad you were able to join us. And who is this beautiful lady with you?" "Your Majesty." With a graceful curtsy, she introduced herself, her eyes sparkling with warmth

and charm. "My name is Alexandria Cooper. It is a pleasure to meet you." I immediately sensed that Lexie was human.

Silas caught my eye, and he responded with a sly smirk and a shake of his head. Soon enough, we were engaged in small talk. Lexie, as Alexandria preferred to be called, told me that Silas employed her and was working as his secretary. I couldn't bring myself to tell Silas, but there was an undeniable spark between them that I couldn't help but notice.

"Uncle Silas! You're here!"

"Princess! I am glad to see you...oh!" As soon as Silas appeared, my daughter dashed towards

him and leaped into his waiting arms. Without missing a beat, Silas scooped her up and twirled

her around in the air, filling the room with her delighted laughter.

"How are you, Princess?"

"I am still mad at you, though, Uncle Silas. HMPH!" Her face scrunched up, and she pouted,

adding a touch of adorable sass to her expression.

"I am so sorry for not coming on your birthday, Princess. I got caught up with something. But I

did send you plenty of gifts. Did you like them?"

"Yes...Uncle Silas, who is she?" My daughter must have caught sight of Lexie. "Is she your girlfriend?!" But before Silas could answer, Lola followed, "But I thought you were going to marry me!!"

"Hold it right there, missy. Who's going to marry who?"

"Your Majesty." Silas and Lexie greeted Lucas as he joined us.

"I will. I will marry Uncle Silas, Daddy!"

"I will not approve of this marriage. You are too young."

"You're just jealous, Daddy. HMPH!"

Our jaws dropped in disbelief, but soon enough, we burst into uncontrollable laughter. I was

glad to hear and see Silas laughing again. It took a while before we saw a smile on his face, but

recently, we have seen more of it. Could it be because of Lexie? Well, that will be a story for some other time.

We watched as the night slowly came to an end, the party winding down. As we made our way

back to our room, we couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment and satisfaction from the evening's festivities. I was looking at the sky on the balcony when Lucas joined me and wrapped me in his arms.

"The moon is beautiful." Always visit Ebookex.com for more novels. The moon rose above the

kingdom, casting its ethereal glow upon everything below.

"So are you."

"I love you, Lucas."

"I love you too, Mrs. Dacre." Mrs. Dacre. I couldn't stop smiling as soon as I heard those words.

I never would have thought that a day like this would come.

I was once Cory Hemmings, an orphan and an enslaved person. I lost all hope. But now, I am

Cory Hemmings Dacre

- a mother, the Queen, and the Werewolf King's Mate.
