Thrown Away -
Chapter 15
It had been three days since anyone saw Finn. She had stayed locked in her granny flat refusing to take food or open the door. Someone was always on guard watching but there was no one coming out of the flat and the food remained untouched. Tex was so worried he called his wife on day two and told her that Finn hadn't been eating and hadn't come out of the flat. She had come straight over and had tried to get Finn to open the door. She was met with the same silence as everyone else.
Finn had been dealing with Jai who was clearly unwell. He had been vomiting after every feed and didn't want to be put down. He was running a temperature and also was extremely fussy. Sally even called Zane and Sunny over but Finn stayed silent. Myles was frantic with worry. He wanted to break the door down to make sure nothing had happened. Tama had stopped him saying it would do more damage. He pointed out the light in the bedroom was on of a night so she was ok. But Tama was worried too, no one knew if Finn had access to food. She was still breastfeeding so she needed to be eating.
Tex had ordered everyone to stay out of the back yard incase that was the problem. He wanted Finn to feel this was her home so went back to keeping the brothers away from space she was in. Tex had stripped three members of their cuts during church for thinking that what was said and done to Finn was ok. He used them as an example stating that he and Myles were wrong. It was hard for a club president to admit he fucked up, but he knew Tama had been right when he said that Finn hadn't felt safe in another club because his club was treating Finn the same.
Myles headed back out to the flat with some food for Finn. It was now every hour someone tried to get Finn to open the door. She was to busy walking the unit trying to keep Jai calm or trying to breastfeed him because he had vomited the last feed up. "Please Finlay, open the door. I'm worried about you and Jai. Please sis let me know if you both are ok" Myles sobbed out. He hated that he hurt Finn, he also hated she was shutting him out. He couldn't blame her but she had never done this before.
Tex watched on and saw how defeated his nephew looked. He could understand it because he felt the same way. Knowing he had caused his niece to completely block them all out hurt. His wife was barely speaking to him and he understood it. The club was trying everything to coax Finn out but nothing was working. Finn hadn't been this bad even after coming here straight after the attack. She had always let her family in. But this time they had pushed her and treated her the same way the snipers did and that had shown Finn that no one, not even her family, could be trusted.
Tama headed towards the flat, he thought maybe he could try. Tama tapped on the door gently, "Finn it's Tama. I just wanted to check on you and Jai. You don't have to open the door, can you please just let me know you are both ok" Tama spoke through the door. Tama heard nothing so tired again. Finn was behind the door silently crying because she hadn't slept in three days let alone had a proper shower. She would just jump in with Jai after he vomited and washed it off.
"Finn I'm going to slip my number under the door, if you need anything and I mean anything at all. Please just text me" Tama stated slipping the paper under the door. He made no demands or stipulations. He just offered his number. Usually it was you need to eat please open up. We are sorry we are worried about Jai and you. Think of Jai. Tama didn't say that just offered help after asking if they were both ok. They were both far from ok but Finn wasn't going to give her so called family the satisfaction of hearing that.
A few hours later Jai was refusing to feed and was very lethargic. Finn was really worried and didn't know what to do. Finn saw the number on the ground and picked it up. She had turned her phone off after the third time that Myles had called her. Finn switched her phone on and sent a text to Tama. 'Jai is sick I need to get to the hospital'.
Finn knew she needed to get Jai medical help but she would be damned if she let Sally try to do it. She wouldn't step foot into the stupid clubhouse again. If Finn had a car she would of driven herself to the hospital but she didn't have her car. Apparently it had been destroyed when she was attacked.
Tama saw the text and immediately jumped up racing to the granny flat. Myles and Tex had no idea what was happening but jumped up as well. Sally was in the kitchen fixing some snacks that she would leave outside Finn's door.
Finn had packed a bag for her and Jai and was waiting for Tama to knock on the door. She had the car seat waiting as she knew that would have to be installed before they could go. She would of called an ambulance but that meant she would have to contact her uncle and let him know what was happening and she wasn't doing that.
Tama knocked on the door quickly, "Finn" was all he got out before the door swung up. "Take the seat and hurry" Finn said refusing to look at anyone but her son. Tama had never seen a baby look so sick ever. Tama grabbed the seat and walked next to Finn towards his bike. "Shit, we need a car" Tama stated.
Tex and Myles had seen Finn opening the door and were shocked at how bad she actually looked. In three days she had clearly lost weight, her eyes had huge black circles around the them and Finn looked like a zombie. "Why do you need a car?" Sally asked not knowing that Finn had come out of the flat. "We need to get Jai to the hospital" Tama replied without thinking.
Myles, Tex and Sally rushed over to Finn who refused to acknowledge any of them. "Let me have him Finn" Sally said going to take Jai to see what was wrong with him. "Don't fucken touch my son. Tama call me an ambulance" Finn demanded. Sally stepped back like she had been slapped in the face. Finn had never once spoken to her like that at all.
Tex pointed to his car "we will take that" he stated. "There is no we Texas. I'm taking my son to the hospital and you and your family will stay the fuck away from us" Finn spat. Finn needed to get moving and quickly, she needed her son seen by a doctor and these people were wasting her time. "Finlay" Myles said shocked at his sister. "You are wasting my time. I will never forgive you if something happens to my son" Finn barked. "Here Tama take the car" Sally said finally looking at Jai and realising he needed medical help and now.
Tama took the keys and secured the car seat in the back as quickly as possibly. Finn refused to look anywhere but at here son and her body was tense. Myles, Tex and Sally watched on wanting to help but knowing Finn would not allow them.
"It's in" Tama stated before running around the the drivers seat. Finn climbed into the back of the car and strapped her son in finally breathing properly. She was on the way to the hospital and no one was stopping her. She had shown the three of them she didn't need them and neither did Jai. She had it handled and that's all that mattered. Her focus was where it should be and that was on her son.
