Marco gazed at his desk, which he had abandoned for a long time. It was the first time he had returned to manage all the businesses in his hands. Marco felt it was time for him to take control again and teach a lesson to those who disturbed him when he appeared vulnerable. He then looked at Pedro, who had been standing in front of him.

"Where's the report on Jacob?" Marco asked, prompting Pedro to finally reach out and hand over several sheets of paper and some other evidence. Marco looked through each one and found that his beloved cousin had truly undermined him because of his distraction with Letta.

"It turns out he has disrupted all of our company's systems. What's the impact?" Marco asked again.

"There are some flight systems that are in disarray, even an airplane accident that hit our airline. All because of Jacob's actions," Pedro replied, making Marco click his tongue in frustration.

"How many casualties?" Marco asked again.

"No casualties at all, but we incurred significant losses due to the considerable damage to the aircraft. Fortunately, the plane was able to land safely in the Cozy River, so we were able to rescue the passengers inside," Pedro said. "Has everything been resolved properly? Has the plane been lifted from the river?" Marco asked, making Pedro nod his head.

"Yes, everything has been resolved, sir."

"Record all the losses caused by him and send them to me immediately. It seems I have to drag my dear cousin into prison soon. He has underestimated me, especially since he is currently in a vulnerable state. This is the right time to strike," Marco said as he got up from his seat, making Pedro nod.

"What else is on my schedule today?" Marco asked as he walked out of the room, followed by Pedro and two other guards.

"In 5 minutes, you have to meet with Mr. Edward, and then you have to manage several projects related to hotel and resort development. Tomorrow you have to fly to Chicago," Pedro said, making Marco nod.

"After I meet my father, set aside about an hour for me because I have to go to the hospital," Marco said, making Pedro nod, even though it was very difficult to replace time in Marco's busy schedule. Pedro had to make it work if Marco wanted it. This time, Marco immediately got back into the car to meet Edward at one of the Jovanka's five-star hotels.

During the journey, Marco glanced at his phone where the nurse was taking care of Letta and sending a video of Letta undergoing physiotherapy, causing Marco to tug at the corner of his lips. There had been significant progress; Letta could walk normally again, albeit slowly. Her physical condition had also started to improve, and most importantly, their baby was growing healthily, making Marco impatient because today was the day of their baby's check-up. Eventually, Pedro stopped the car right in front of the 5-star hotel where Marco would meet his father. Marco immediately went up to the highest floor and met Edward, who was sitting in his grand chair.

"You finally came," Edward said, making Marco sigh deeply "Yes, because today I can finally think clearly," Marco said, making Edward finally walk over to his son, pouring drinks into crystal glasses for them. "You know your mother is really angry with you right now," Edward said, making Marco nod his head.

"Yes, I know, but I don't have time to persuade Mommy. I'm still too busy with other matters, not to mention the trouble caused by Daddy's beloved nephew," Marco said, sipping the drink in front of him, making Edward look at his son with raised eyebrows.

"Yes, Daddy knows. Daddy has also told it to your uncle, and he said that Jacob was just upset because you didn't let him participate in your new project in Chicago," Edward said, making Marco click his tongue in annoyance. "That's his way of having fun and playing with the lives of hundreds of people on my airline. Fortunately, our pilots were able to land it in a large river, so we only suffered material damage. What if there were casualties or the plane couldn't be controlled and instead crashed into a mountain or sank into the sea? That would cause greater losses than now," Marco said, making Edward nod his head.

"Yes, Daddy knows, he won't meddle. You can handle it yourself, and Daddy knows it just sounds like an excuse from your uncle," Edward said again, making Marco shrug nonchalantly.

"How is your wife's condition?" Edward asked again.

"For now, she's getting better," Marco said, making Edward nod his head.

"It shows from your face that looks calmer than the last time we met," Edward said again.

"She has lost all her memories," Marco said, making Edward stop his hand movements.

"The coma she experienced affected all the memories she had. I don't know whether I should be grateful or concerned, because with that, maybe I can start our marriage anew. I don't want her to remember the past events she went through, especially losing our first child," Marco said, making Edward go silent before finally placing the glass that had been pulled from his hand.

"Do you love her?" Edward asked, looking at his son with a serious gaze.

"I don't know, but for now, I don't want to lose her," Marco answered, making Edward nod his head. It seemed his father truly understood his feelings, but Marco seemed hesitant to be honest about his feelings.

"If you don't want to lose her, take good care of her. And one more thing you need to handle is your mother's opinion. You know she's a bit difficult to change her feelings towards someone," Edward said.

"Daddy just needs to say that for now, don't act childish towards Mommy, especially concerning Letta. I've worked hard to get her to this point. I don't want to ruin everything and make her run away from me again," Marco said, making Edward nod.

"I'll try, but I can't promise, because you know, if your mother has a desire, it's difficult for us to forbid her. But I will try to make her understand the condition of your wife. So, what about Arabella?" Edward asked, making Marco shrug nonchalantly.

"Normal, my relationship with her is still going fine. Even though I know right now she doesn't want to contact me. Maybe just to meet. Maybe she's reluctant, but I'm not like that," Marco said, making Edward chuckle, catching Marco's attention.

"It seems your tactics are similar to mine," Edward said, making Marco look at him with raised eyebrows.

"Come on, Mommy and Letta are two very different people. How can they be the same?" Marco said.

"Maybe if you look from the outside, they are indeed not the same, but you know, your mother was just like your wife now. She was a good woman, cheerful, and innocent. Even though now she looks like a raging lioness, but back then, your mother was very adorable. That's why Daddy can't let go of her until now," Edward said, making Marco just nod.

"I will try to believe that Mommy is like my wife. Although I'm a bit skeptical," Marco said, making his father sigh.

"Well then, just handle Jacob's affairs properly for now. Daddy doesn't want your uncle to do the same things as his son," Edward said, making Marco get up from his seat.

"Daddy doesn't need to worry. I can handle everything, whether it's his son or himself," Marco said, making Edward just nod. Of course, Edward believed in his son to do anything in the best way possible.
