Chapter 1011

"Although I've been psyched up, I didn't expect it to be such short in supply. It's out of stock"

Molly looked at the list of druggists provided by Wayne and lamented, "Now we only have one store togo to. If they run out of it too, we'll have to look for it in other cities."

Upon hearing that, Sean grabbed her hand. "Don't worry, Tony has sent people to look for it. They mayreplace it. Who knows? Let's go to the last store."

"Yeah."

Molly nodded. There wasn't any other option.

Ten minutes later, the three arrived at the last drugstore.

To be precise, it was an old-timey clinic.

It was small, but the decoration was antique. The chairs and table looked a bit old.

Behind the counter stood a wall of drawers that were marked with the names of various medicines.

Molly looked over. These medicines were very common.

But those she was looking for were rare. This was not a good sign.

Sean looked around and said, "No one seems to be here."

Molly decided to ask about it since they were already there.

Before she could say anything, there came a cry. "Sir, are you all right? Wake up!"

Molly and Sean froze. They looked over and found a room inside.

The voice came from there.

Molly sensed anxiety in that person's voice and intended to go over.

Just then, the door opened, and out rushed a girl in a plain work uniform. It looked like she was a salesclerk here.

She was startled to see two people standing outside.

Then she came to her senses and apologized, "Sorry, you'll have to wait if you want to see the doctoror buy medicine."

Losing no time, she prepared to call an ambulance.

Perhaps because she was too anxious, her attempts all failed.

Molly grabbed her hand and said, "May I ask what is going on? I'm a doctor. I heard your cry. Is anyoneinside ill?"

The clerk saw her as a life-saving straw. "Really? You're a doctor? Help me check on my boss. Hesuddenly covered his chest and collapsed on the floor. I don't know what's going on. My duty is to fetchmedicine. I don't know how to treat people.

Without further ado, Molly turned around and headed to the room.

As soon as she got in, a silver-haired old man came into view. He was lying on the floor.

She hurried over to check on him.

She did a double-check before concluding, "He's having arrhythmia and polypnea. His breathing isgetting weak and difficult. It's quite likely to be a heart attack. No time for an ambulance. Do you have asilver needle? I need to treat him immediately!"

"Yeah, I'll get it for you."

Perhaps because a doctor was here, the clerk gradually calmed down and immediately carried out herorder.

She hurried to get the silver needle. Molly beckoned to Tony. "Help me get him on the bed."

"Got it."

Tony came up and got the old man on the bed.

The clerk hurried back with a box and opened it.

Molly quickly disinfected her hands, took the needles, and started the treatment.

Her movements were fast and steady. Several major acupoints were stuck.

After ten minutes or so, she stopped and let out a deep breath. " Okay, he will come round in amoment."

The clerk said grateful, "Thank you, doctor. Luckily, you're here, or else, I don't know what to do."

Molly waved her hand. "You're welcome, but this is a major event. I think you should tell his familyabout it."

The clerk hurriedly nodded. "You're right. I'll do it right away."

With that, she hastened away to make the call.

Molly glanced at Sean and said apologetically, "Sorry to waste your time. I'm afraid our trip is fruitlesstoday."

Sean shook his head. "Silly girl, I like to spend time with you. Besides, I had a chance to see you savesomeone's life."

The little woman might not notice it, but she looked so brilliant when she was treating the old man.
