Then Selon came to the child and began to examine his condition.

Seeing the festering wound on his leg, he couldn't help but knit his brows.

"He had sudden asthma, and his wound has been infected. He has to be treated right now. Otherwise,his condition will worsen. He already has a high fever because of the infection!" Molly said, taking outthe needle.

The child was no longer twitching, but he was still feverish.

"The child needs a clean place to rest."

Molly looked up at Selon and said gravely, "My needle can only suppress his asthma for a while. Healso needs medicine."

"The Shepard family sent over several batches of medical supplies earlier. Now I'm going to arrange it."

Selon immediately answered and got up to leave.

"Wait."

Molly stopped him.

Selon looked back and asked, "What's up?"

Molly looked around and said, "The people wounded here haven't been placed in order. Their woundswill worsen a lot if this goes on, and some might die. An orderly medical treatment is very necessary."

After looking around at the wounded screaming on the ground, Selon nodded and said, "Uncle Josewill hold a meeting at noon. We can give our suggestions on how to improve the situation."

"Okay."

Since he said so, Molly didn't say anything anymore. After all, saving lives was now her top agenda.

After a few minutes, Selon brought over an asthma inhaler she needed.

"Thank you."

Molly extended her gratitude. Then she lifted the child's upper body, letting his head rest on the crookof her arm, and helped him to use the inhaler.

Gradually, the child's heart beating became stable, and his lips were not that purple anymore.

Seeing that, the woman knelt on the ground and thanked her repeatedly, ’ Thank you, doctor. Thankyou, doctor."

"Get up. Hold the child in your arms and come with me," Molly said.

The woman got up hurriedly, held the child in her arms, and walked after Molly and Selon, coming to amakeshift tent.

In the tent, Molly asked the woman to put the child on the wooden board and began to treat thefestering wound.

Then she disinfected it, put ointment on it, and wrapped it up.

The whole process was perfect. She didn't need anyone to help her at all.

After that, Molly slipped off her gloves, picked up a packet of antipyretic medicine, handed it to thewoman, and instructed, "Let him take the antipyretic medicine first. If he sweats, dry it in time, lest thathe catch a cold..."

The woman listened carefully, afraid to miss even a word.

Upon leaving, the woman thanked Molly again, "Thank you for saving my child. Thank you very much,doctor."

Saving lives was what a doctor should do.

So Molly thought she didn't need to be thanked.

Molly waved her hands and said, "If there's any other condition, you can come to us anytime."

After seeing off the woman and her child, Molly began to save the other wounded people.

Although the medical team came in a rush, Selon dealt with things efficiently. Besides, the Shepardfamily had asked their men to come here to make arrangements a few days ago, so they couldimmediately get the drugs they needed to use on the wounded.

For Molly, once she was busy, she almost wouldn't have time to rest.

Throughout the medical center, medical workers were seen everywhere.

Gradually the screams were not that miserable anymore.

An afternoon soon passed. Since Molly had treated a dozen wounded people, she almost couldn't raiseher hands because of their soreness.

"Doctor May, have a rest and eat lunch. We'll discuss how to deploy our medical staff," Selon walked toher and said.

"Okay."

Molly looked down at her clothes, which were stained with dirt and blood.

With dust on her face, she looked unclean.

But Molly didn't care about it.

After she cleaned herself, about to eat lunch-she had just opened the lunch box but had not eatenanything, she saw two children standing beside her from the corner of her eye. They were watching herlunch box with anticipation.
