The kiss was different from last night's. Sean was extremely tender, as if he was treating her as afragile treasure.
Molly tried to resist, but she was intoxicated by his tenderness.
By the time she realized it, Sean had taken her to the bathroom.
Water drizzled over their bodies.
Molly winced and she came back to her senses. She looked at Sean.
His hair was drenched. His shirt was wet and clinging to his body, showing off his muscles. He lookedat her with passionate eyes, and a wave of desire welled up under his eyes.
"What..."
Molly tensed and shivered.
Sean propped one of his arms against the wall and unbuttoned his shirt with his other hand. In alowered voice, he said, "We shower together. And then well...."
Molly's heart thumped. She wanted to say something, but just then Sean kissed her on the lips.
The water in the shower turned warm. And she felt a burning heat inside her.
Gradually, the steam rose in the bathroom and it became warm.
That night, Molly was exhausted. She fell asleep without moving her limbs.
When she woke up the next day at noon, she wanted to go back to Terahis Grove without lunch.
She guessed that if she stayed here, Sean would exhaust her again.
Sean stopped her and coaxed, "I'll take you back after lunch. My mom called this morning and askedus to go back. I guess they want to talk to us about something."
Molly was skeptical, "You're not lying to me?"
"No, why don't you believe me?" Sean said with a frustrated look.
Molly snorted, "You should know that."
Although Molly said that, she was in no hurry to go back any more.
After lunch, Sean would drive her back.
When they got to Terahis Grove, both the two families were there.
Sean let go of Molly's hand and turned to his mother. "Mom, why did you ask us back? What's sourgent?"
"What's so urgent?" Alice lashed out, "What did you do? You
two got married without telling us. You haven't had your engagement ceremony. All my dedication lastmonth has been in vain. You've gone too far!"
Sean froze. He was surprised his parents would learn about it.
Molly felt guilty, too.
She glanced quietly at her family.
Her family looked fine, but Sean's family all looked angry, especially Sean's grandfather.
Sean calmly explained, "It's my fault. I couldn't wait."
"Of course, it's your fault! Molly wouldn't be so inconsiderate.
Alice glared at Sean, and then she turned to Molly. "Molly, you shouldn't listen to Sean! If you listen tohim on everything now, he'll be spoiled."
Alice obviously didn't blame Molly, so Molly responded," Yes, you're right. I shouldn't have listened toSean."
Sean raised an eyebrow. He was amused.
'Since when did she learn to pass the buck?'
But instead of arguing, Sean said, "Even though we're married, I'll give Molly a perfect engagementceremony and wedding. Your efforts will not be in vain."
