Chapter 1547

After ten o'clock in the evening, Logan and Lesley were ready to go back.

"Uncle Jordan, take a good rest. We will come to see you another day." Logan said to Mr. Ballard whowalked them out with a face full of reluctance.

But Mr. Ballard was very calm, "Anyway, we are all on this island now, and we can see each otheranytime. Go back and rest. It's late."

Lesley looked at Molly and Sean who were standing behind Mr. Ballard, and said gratefully, "Thankyou. If it weren’t for you, I probably wouldn't have reunited with Logan, let alone Uncle Jordan."

"No, I should be thanking you." Molly sincerely said, "If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have survived whenI first arrived on the island.

"Besides, Mr. Ballard is my teacher and mentor. Sean and I should do these things." "We're a family.Don't be so polite." When Mr. Ballard spoke, the young people all smiled and did not continue this topic.

"Tony, escort them back safely," Sean instructed Tony who was beside him.

Tony bowed his head respectfully, "Yes, Sir."

"Goodbye." Logan and Lesley waved.

Watching the car drive away and vanish round the street corner, Mr. Ballard turned and went back tothe house.

When passing by her, Molly heard his sigh and also saw the disappointment on his face inadvertently.

She and Sean looked at each other, and then quickly followed.

"Mr. Ballard, do you miss Selby?" She held Mr. Ballard's arm and asked tentatively.

Mr. Ballard patted her hand, sighed, and stared at the front," Yes, but what can I do?"

He shook his head.

"Mr. Ballard, I have sent someone to check the whereabouts of your grandson, and I believe there willbe news soon."

Hearing this, Mr. Ballard turned his head to look at Sean who was speaking, and said with a helplesssmile on his face, "Sean, Molly, you don't have to worry about me. I'm fine."

Knowing that Mr. Ballard wasjust being emotional, Molly quickly changed the topic and said, "By theway, Mr. Ballard, I'm afraid you'll have to go to the research lab."

When it came to business, Mr. Ballard’s expression instantly became serious, "I know. I came here tohelp you solve the Love Curse. How is Kara?"

"She's slowly recovering, but not fully recovered," Molly

replied truthfully.

Mr. Ballard pondered for a moment, and then said, "Well, when it is convenient for you, just take methere, and I will personally check her physical condition and evaluate whether it is suitable for inducingthe Venomous Insect."

"OK."

After confirming this matter, Mr. Ballard went upstairs to rest.

Sean and Molly went to see if the three children were asleep. When they opened the door, they sawthe three children lying on the bed obediently.

"They're sleeping," Molly whispered, and then gently closed the door.

Sean raised his eyebrows, "Aren't you going in and make sure?"

Would these three children sleep so obediently?

He didn't believe it.

"No." Molly dragged him back to the room while talking.

An hour later, after the bath, just as they lay down, the door was suddenly opened by someone fromoutside.

Hearing the sound, Molly quickly sat up.

Three little heads poked in through the open door, and three pairs of bright, sleepless eyes werestaring at her.

She couldn't help laughing, "You three haven't slept yet!"

Sean didn't look surprised at all.

"Mommy, we want to sleep with you."

Alex took the lead in expressing his thoughts.

"Me too." Ben followed closely behind.

After all, Molly felt a little guilty for not being with them for a while. So instead of refusing, she waved atthem, "Come to Mommy."

As soon as the three children heard it, they immediately burst into smiles, rushed over with their pillowsin their arms, and climbed onto the bed one after another.

Seeing this, Sean looked a little unhappy.

Their privacy was suddenly disturbed by the children. He was certainly not happy.

So, he stretched out his hands, took Alex and Ben to his side, and said with a serious face, "You arenot babies anymore. You are big boys, and you should sleep by yourselves, you know?"

Alex and Ben exchanged a glance and tacitly chose to ignore their father's words. They climbed to liedown next to Molly again and covered the quilt obediently.

"We're going to sleep with Mommy."

They couldn't sleep by themselves tonight.

Sean suddenly regretted having asked Mr. Ballard to bring them here.

At this time, Claudia crawled over and said in a childish voice, "Daddy, I want to sleep with you."

Sean had always adored his daughter, and he immediately stopped moping and chose to compromise,"Okay."

Seeing this, Molly couldn't help laughing. This man had just tried so hard to refuse his sons' request, but he couldn't even say a single "no” to his daughter now.

He was completely controlled by his daughter.

Fortunately, the bed was big enough for five of them.

Lying by Daddy's and Mommy's side, the three children fell asleep within a short while.

"Good night." Molly lovingly kissed their little cheeks. When she raised her eyes, she met Sean's bittergaze.

She was both amused and helpless, and said to him softly," Good night."

Then she lay down and closed her eyes.

Seeing that she was about to sleep, Sean could only sigh lightly and decided that he would let the threechildren sleep by themselves tomorrow night.

In the early morning of the next day, Molly vaguely felt that someone was touching her face.

A bit frightened, she quickly opened her eyes and found a pair of clear and innocent eyes.

It was Claudia.

Seeing that Molly woke up, the little girl giggled, "Mommy, you're a slob. Why don't you get up yet?"

At this moment, Molly realized that Sean and their two sons were not in the room. She scratched herhair and then pulled Claudia into her arms.

"Then you can be a slob with Mommy." She kissed the little girl hard twice.

Claudia struggled and laughed, "Mommy, you haven't brushed your teeth."

"It's okay. I brushed them before going to bed." Molly hugged Claudia tightly, smelling her hair, closedher eyes, and muttered, "Let Mommy sleep a little longer, okay?"

"No!" Claudia directly opened Molly's eyes with her hands, and her beautiful and delicate face was fullof seriousness," Daddy said you can sleep if you want, but you have to eat breakfast first."

At this moment, Sean opened the door and came in. Seeing the mother and daughter lying on the bed,he smiled dotingly.

"Claudia, didn't I tell you to wake Mommy up? Why did you lie down and sleep too?"

"Daddy, I didn't sleep. It's because Mommy didn’t want to get up." Claudia complained in a childishvoice.

When Molly heard this, she could only sit up from the bed, and said to Sean with a wry smile, "Yourdaughter is more principled than you."

"If you are sleepy, take a nap after the breakfast." Sean came over, picked up Claudia, and looked atMolly's sleepy face with gentle eyes.

No." Molly smiled, "I don't want to be a slob."
