Chapter 191

Sean gave the nod. ‘If I could choose not to attend, I wouldn’t be asking you now,’ he thought. “Then I’llhave to go with you,” Molly said helplessly, folding her arms. ‘I’ll follow him because there’s no otheroption, and it’s only two days.’ Molly pondered. Sean did not agree right away. He paused, concernedthat he would annoy Molly. “What about the kids?” he inquired.

“Bring them along,” Molly responded directly. They exchanged glances before she asked,” Would it be abother to your work?”

Sean denied it with a shake of his head. ‘I thought it would bother Molly more because I was going on abusiness trip. She only treated my illness and wouldn’t interfere with my work.’

Molly went back to Grandpa Dave after they agreed on the arrangement. “Sure, just look afteryourselves,” Grandpa Dave said. Molly could care for herself while abroad, so Grandpa Dave was notconcerned. ‘She’ll be gone for two days, and the butler will be here, so it’ll only be two days without agood meal.’ ‘We’re not going to be the third wheel to Mommy and Daddy!’ thought the triplets sitting nextto them.

“We’re staying to keep Great Grandpa company!” exclaimed Ben, clinging to Grandpa Dave as if hedidn’t want to leave his side. The other two followed. “Yes! I don’t want to abandon Great Grandpa!”Claudia stated.

“I’m not comfortable leaving Ben and Claudia behind as the eldest. So I also wanted to stay with GreatGrandpa.” Alex spoke maturely as usual.

‘Didn’t these three enjoy having fun?’ Molly asked, surprised. ‘What made them decide to stay at homethis time?’ She looked at the triplets as if something was wrong.

Grandpa Dave was overjoyed by what the triplets had said, so he said, “I adore you, children. However, Iappreciate your thoughts, but you should listen to your mother.” Grandpa Dave was well aware that thechildren enjoy having fun. They should go if they have the opportunity. He knew they were only trying tomake him happy, so he ignored their words.

The triplets shook their heads and said, “No, Great Grandpa! We really wanted to stay and accompanyyou!” “That’s right! You’ll be lonely without us, Great Grandpa! Don’t you think it would be nice to hear uslaugh and giggle?” Claudia explained, worried that Great Grandpa would say no again. ‘We areabsolutely not going! This is an excellent opportunity for Mommy and Daddy to spend time alone. A newenvironment means a better chance of chemistry! It would be ideal if Mommy and Daddy returned andmarried!’ “Are you sure you want Great Grandpa to be home alone, Mommy?” Alex inquired. With aninnocent expression, he tossed the ball back to Molly.

‘Of course I would say no. Grandpa Dave is someone important to me,’ Molly thought.

However, Molly felt strange and didn’t know how to express herself, so she said, “You three are free toreturn home. But you must be respectful and listen to Great Grandpa. You promise to cat on time and notjust play all day and ignore your homework?” Molly’s words indicated that she agreed, and heragreement delighted the triplets. They all prayed in their hearts, ‘Hope the couple makes new progresswhen they return!’

The next day, Molly simply packed a small amount of luggage and drove to the airport with Sean afterthey had their lunch. They took a direct flight to the neighboring city.
