Chapter 194

Chapter 194

It was getting late. When Molly finished watching the fifth film, she noticed that Sean had not yet comeout of his room.

Molly frowned and went upstairs, knocking on his door. Sean had been lost in his work, and theunexpected knock on the door served as a wake-up call, jolting him back to reality. ‘Almost forgot aboutthe treatment,’ he thought.

“Come in,” Sean said. He set the document down, rubbed his glabella, and looked at the person whowalked in through the door. ‘He was obviously not in good health, and he still had such a huge workload,’Molly frowned as she noticed Sean’s tired eyes. ‘Isn’t he aware of balancing work and rest?’

Molly wanted to say the words in her head to Sean, but she restrained herself. She disliked interferingwith other people’s lives.

“Let’s get started with the treatment.” Molly made a gesture while holding the needle case.

After the treatment Molly was also tired. Before she left, she said, “The nighttime temperature here islower than in Northfolk.

Remember to put on a coat and get some rest after you take a bath.”

“All right,” Sean said, opening the notebook on the table. Molly didn’t bother Sean any further afternoticing how busy he was. A breeze blew outside at night, and the air became slightly cooler. Molly wassound asleep when she was startled by a knock on the door.

“Ms. May! Are you there?”

Molly sat up, perplexed, and quickly came to.

“Ms. May!”

‘It was Tony’s voice,’ Molly pondered. Molly quickly put on her coat and went down to open the door.“What’s the matter?” she asked.

She opened the door and looked at the person. Her hair was a little unkempt, and her voice wassluggish.

“Boss has a fever!” exclaimed Tony. He didn’t want to barge in, so he could only yell at the door. ‘Iunderstand that disturbing someone’s sleep is immoral. But I had no choice!’ Tony thought.

Tony thought.

Molly’s expression changed, and she walked straight into Sean’s room. ‘Why did he suddenly

get a fever?’ she wondered. Tony quickly followed behind her, sensing her annoyance and fearing thatshe had misinterpreted him. Hence, he said timidly, “Ms. May, I followed your instructions. After the bath,I put on a coat for my boss and gave him a cup of hot water before putting him to bed.” ‘Ever since Ms.May caught the boss drinking, she has said that if he does not follow her instructions, she will no longertreat him. We didn’t mess around and did exactly what was asked of us! Ms. May is, after all, the boss’sonly hope. We, of course, listened to her. It’s just that the sever came so suddenly…’

Tony was also panicking in his heart.

They entered Sean’s room.

Molly sat beside the bed as she frowned at the person on the bed. ‘His face was pale, not flushed, and alittle weak.’

“There’s a bag on the table in my room. There was a box inside. Take two pills after opening . the boxand counting the third compartment from left to right.” Molly said calmly, her attention focused on the

patient. “Please get the needle case as well,” she added. “Okay, I’ll bring them right away,” Tony said. Heturned around and went to get the items requested. Molly sat there silently watching. After a while, theman on the bed asked softly, “Are you angry?” “No, I’m not. You didn’t intend for this to happen,” Mollystated. Her tone was less agitated than the last time.

There are numerous causes of fever. Molly, as a doctor, was not blaming the patient. Furthermore, because the person in front of her is not a child, she does not need to repeat herself three or four times.

The priority right now is to get the fever under control.

Tony returned with the items and handed them to Molly. “The medicine will be very bitter, but don’t spit itout,” said Molly.
