Chapter 265

Chapter 265

Russell thought, ‘How would the May family react if they realized that Dr.Joye was Molly, the person thatthey hated the most?’

The May family started to pull themselves back to reality after Benjamin left. They stopped thinking aboutBenjamin’s words and started to throw the hope of treating Lara onto Brycen.

That was because Brycen was the only one who met Joye.

“Brycen, is Dr. Joye really that weird of a person?” Walter was pissed at Brycen for saying the things hesaid earlier, but he did not say it in a situation like this.

He was also angry at Dr. Joye, the doctor that he had never met before. ‘Isn’t it a doctor’s job to save theill?’

Diana saw that Brycen was quiet, so she said to everyone, “It’s alright, every skilled person has a weirdside to them. If Dr. Joye doesn’t want to help mom out, I will beg her, even if I had to kneel down beforethat doctor, who is probably not that heartless.” After all the incidents before, Brycen was repelled byDiana as he knew that she was an utterly scheming person. ‘If she wanted to show how good she is as adaughter, shouldn’t she just do something instead of using her words?’ Brycen would have already toldher that Joye did not have a weird side if it was appropriate for him to say that. He sneered as he lookedat her and said, “Forget it. You might have a little hope if you begged other doctors, but Joye will only beeven more disgusted at you if you did that.”

Brycen did not hide his real impression of Diana.

Diana was stupefied. Walter and Nathan were just about to say something when Brycen interruptedthem.

“Even I am afraid to beg Joye. I can’t help you out with this. You should think of a plan yourself.” Then,Brycen immediately got Russell to take him to his room. ‘This is karma.’ ‘If they didn’t treat Molly liketrash and went against her all this time, I wouldn’t be in such a hard position today.’ Brycen knew thatMolly was a very kind person. Otherwise, she would not save him and watch him be crippled for his life.‘She saved me. It was only natural for grandpa to feel sorry for her.’ ‘I’ve only defended her with mywords, and she returned me the favor.’ When Brycen thought about how Molly and her triplets treatedhim, he could only feel sorry for her.

Though it was possible for her to treat Lara, he did not want to take advantage of his sister’s kindness. All he hoped was for the May family to know their mistakes, show their sincerity, and apologize to Molly.

Benjamin walked out of Lara’s ward and went to the balcony of his office. He looked down at the nursesand patients with their families downstairs and pondered for a moment before he decided to tell Mollyabout Lara’s condition.

After all, they were still a family. Even if Molly did not want to save Lara, she still had to right to knowabout this matter.

He called Molly, but she was busy, so she only responded after some time.

“What’s up, Benjamin?”

“Your-Do you know about Lara fainting in the hospital?” Benjamin thought about it and decided not toaddress Lara as Molly’s “mother.”
