Unbreakable Love His Passion for Her Transcends Death -
Chapter 381
Yvette tightened the blanket around her body and hurriedly rejected Xavier. "No, let's not."
She got out of his embrace and quickly put her clothes back on. Then, she snuck out of the room. She didn't notice there were two pair of little eyes looking at her in the dark. Noah softly asked, "Why did he lie to us? Mom was in his room after all."
Since Zachary was mature, he thought of one possibility. "Damn it! We've tried to prevent it for so long, but it still happened in the end!"
"What do you mean?" Noah didn't understand what he was saying at all.
Zachary didn't actually know a lot. "Just what happens in the TV shows that Grandma loves to watch. What else can a man and a woman do when they're alone? They were kissing!"
Noah had been in the hospital most of the time, while Zachary had been staying with Viola. When they were at home, she would always watch romantic TV shows.
Viola would get so touched all the time that she would keep crying. Although Zachary didn't like watch those shows, he would watch them with her like a good kid. After watching the shows, he could learn something new as well, like romantic relationships.
"Damn it!" Noah finally understood what was going on as well. "How dare he kiss Mom on the lips?"
He was completely infuriated, and he didn't lower his voice at all. Yvette hadn't reached her room yet, and she turned around when she heard him.
They knew they couldn't hide from her anymore, so they came out of hiding.
Noah went straight to the point. "Mom, why did you come out of Mr. Xavier's room?"
He was jealous. Yvette hadn't kissed him for a long time, and he couldn't believe she'd actually kissed Xavier instead.
"I... I..." As she looked at the two pairs of eyes, she didn't know how to lie to them at that moment.
Suddenly, the door to Xavier's room opened. He walked out with an unfriendly look. "We were talking about business. What's wrong? Did you want to join us as well?"
The two children wanted to ask what they were talking about and why they had to do it in the middle of the night.
Suddenly, they heard a loud noise from outside. It sounded like something had fallen from a great height.
Viola woke up to the noise, and she stumbled out of her room. "Why are you all still awake? What's happening outside?"
Yvette felt the most awkward, and she had no choice but to lie. "We also got up when we heard something outside."
"Then, let's go take a look. Something probably snapped because of how much it snowed."
As expected, when they went out to take a look, they saw a branch that had snapped from a big tree. It had fallen on the road, blocking the path.
Zachary thought of a great way to mess with Xavier.
"The snow was too heavy, Grandma, and it snapped a tree branch. It's blocking the road. What if people start driving tomorrow?
"Mister, you're strong, right? Can you help us move the branch away? You'll be blessed with good luck if you do something good."
Noah added, "That's right, mister. You're the best, and I'm sure you wouldn't want other people to crash into the branch, right?" He wanted Xavier to freeze to death after going outside.
Xavier was already in a bad mood because they had interrupted him earlier. Since he was upset, he said straightforwardly, "I can do it. But I can't see a thing now, so you'll have to help me."
Zachary and Noah agreed to help at the same time.
Yvette wanted to speak up for her kids at first, but she suddenly remembered what Xavier told her earlier. So, she made sure those two wore thick clothes, and she handed Xavier a pair of gloves.
Then, Yvette and Viola watched as the two children instructed Xavier as he moved the branches. Then, he shoveled away the excess snow.
As Viola watched the three of them,
she thought about how Xavier had been different recently. She couldn't help saying, "Yvvy, if he stays this way forever, it'll be alright for you to be with him too."
