Unbreakable Love His Passion for Her Transcends Death -
Chapter 457
Seeing how well-behaved Xavier was, Yvette decided not to press further.
Xavier couldn't help but ask, "What else did Jeremiah say?"
"Take a guess." Yvette teased him on purpose.
Xavier leaned in, wrapped his arms around her, and whispered in her ear, "Regardless of what he said, you have to trust me. I will never hurt you again, no matter what happens." Yvette felt a bit puzzled. Why did he say "again"?
"Mom, Mr. Xavier." Noah's resentful gaze came from upstairs. He had let his guard down, and now his bastard father was already getting handsy with Yvette!
Hearing Noah's voice, Yvette quickly pushed Xavier away. Her cheeks were so flushed that they looked as though they were on fire. On the other hand, Xavier was clearly displeased about being interrupted again. Noah walked down and stood in front of Yvette. "Mom, I want a hug too."
"Alright." Yvette picked him up.
Noah made a face at Xavier, who unfortunately couldn't see it. "Mr. Xavier, if you want a hug, you should go home and get one from your mom!"
Yvette was amused upon hearing that.
Xavier, however, didn't hold back as he retorted, "Don't you know that I can hug my wife as well? My mom isn't the only one I can hug." Yvette quietly pinched Xavier.
Noah wanted nothing more than to sink his teeth into his bastard father. How dare that shameless man try to take Yvette away from him? "Mom, is it okay for us to sleep together tonight?" he asked.
Yvette couldn't possibly refuse him. "Sure!"
Xavier couldn't help but feel disgruntled. So that was why he couldn't replace Yvette when he went to her room last night.
When would he be able to finally hug Yvette if things went on this way?
"Are you still a three-year-old child? Why do you want to sleep with your mom?"
If it were Zachary, he would definitely feel shy and not want to sleep with Yvette.
Noah, however, clung tightly to Yvette's arm Even if I were a hundred years old, I'd still be Mom's baby. I want to sleep with Mom. Mr. Xavier, where's your mom? Did she not want you? Is that why you have to cling to my mom instead?"
Xavier was momentarily stunned.
Yvette, amused, smiled with her eyes squinted. "Mr. Xavier is an adult, so of course he doesn't live with his mom."
Noah's eyes instantly welled up with tears. "Mom, I don't want to grow up. If I grow up, I'll have to be separated from you. I don't want that."
Noah's fake tears melted Yvette's heart. She immediately comforted him. "No, I won't part ways with you. Don't worry, my dear Noah."
Yvette's heart broke for him. Noah was just a regular child after all. It was normal for him to feel insecure.
"Let's go to bed. I'm tired."
"Alright."
"Mom, could you make the bed? I'll come up later," Noah said.
"Sure thing, baby."
When Yvette went upstairs to prepare the bed, Noah revealed his true nature, He looked at Xavier triumphantly and boasted, "Xavier Lane, you're still too much of an amateur to compete with me"
As Noah was about to leave, Xavier reached out, grabbing him and lifting him up.
Noah started to panic in an instant. "Mr. Xavier, let's talk it out. No need to be rough."
Xavier now realized that while Noah might seem more sensitive than Zachary, he actually was more shameless.
"Repeat what you just said," Xavier said coldly.
Noah, now afraid, switched tactics. "Don't make me cry and say you hit me! Who do you think is more important to Mom? Me or you?"
There was no question about it. Noah was definitely more important.
Xavier put him down.

Noah realized that Xavier was genuinely afraid of upsetting Yvette. This didn't seem to be an act. Did
that mean his bastard father really liked Yvette?
