Kiki alighted the vehicle and picked up her courage to walk toward Xavier. "Mr. Lane."

He stood there and got straight to the point. "What's up?"

Kiki had already thought about what she would say while she had been on her way there. So, she immediately said, "Yvvy is kind and innocent. She's only been treating you well in the past few months because you've lost your sight. I hope you won't mistake it for some

stupid

love."

Xavier frowned a little. "And?"

"Please leave Yvvy and stop bothering her, alright?" Kiki clenched her fists, hoping that it would make her more confident.

Xavier calmly asked, "What if I don't want to leave her?" He finally made Yvette stay by his side, and there was no way he would give up that easily.

Kiki was stunned. She hadn't thought Xavier would still be so difficult to handle after he lost his memories. He still sounded harsh when he spoke.

"Do you think Yvvy will be happy by staying with you? You can't even take care of yourself now that you're blind. So how are you going to take care of her and the baby?

"Don't tell me that you're planning on letting her take care of you. There's no way I'll let her provide for you forever!

"Also, you might've forgotten what you did to her, but I remember how you were disgusted by her when she was hearing-impaired. Now that you're blind, how could you be so shameless and not replace yourself disgusting?"

Kiki wasn't that great at lecturing others. When she finally finished saying her piece, her face was blushing brightly.

If it had been in the past, Xavier would have been furious by now. However, he wasn't angry at that moment. Instead, there was a complicated look in his gaze.

"I'll take care of what you're worried about. I've never been a guy who would let his wife provide for him."

"How could you take care of it? Yvvy told me that you have a great debt to pay off," said Kiki.

Xavier was stunned; he clearly hadn't expected Kiki and Yvette to be so close. It seemed like Yvette had told her everything.

If he explained that he had money at that moment, Kiki would expose his lie about being broke. If he said he was poor, he would be admitting to letting Yvette provide for him.

"What's wrong? Can't you think of

any more excuses? I won't be tricked by you like Yvvy, so you should just leave her as soon as possible. Clear your debt by yourself or ask your mom to do it for you."

Xavier's dashing face fell a little. "I've opened a new company in secret, and I'll be wealthy soon."

He had never expected money to be an obstacle between Yvette and himself one day.

"What do you mean by soon? And what company is it? Don't tell me it's a shell company." Kiki had always been a straightforward woman, and she wasn't afraid of offending him as well. Xavier frowned and said, "I'll tell you about it in the future."

Kiki wanted to say something else. However, Yvette came out when she noticed Xavier hadn't returned yet. "Kiki, didn't you say you weren't coming today?"

When Kiki saw Yvette, she felt like a child who had been caught doing something wrong. "Oh, I was just passing by. Grandpa asked me to get something for him."

After that, she softly warned Xavier,

"I don't care if you're telling the truth

or not. If you dare to hurt her again,

I'll never let it go. Also, don't you dare tell Xvy about what I told you

today." Then, she left.

The bodyguards keeping watch in the shadows started sweating. They wondered if Kiki had a death wish.

Yvette waved goodbye at Kiki before approaching Xavier, "What could she possibly buy around here?" Since

they were halfway up the mountain, there weren't any shops in the area at all.

"What did she talk to you about?"
