"What if somebody sees us?" Xavier chuckled coldly when he heard Yvette say that. The driver was so terrified that his forehead was covered in sweat. "To the hospital," said Xavier.

"Yes, sir."

...

Meanwhile, Noah was throwing a tantrum in the ward and wouldn't eat at all. "I want to see my mom. Why isn't she here? Mom..."

Wendy didn't know what to do at all. "Be good and listen to me, alright, Noah?"

He had always been nice to her before. However, he stopped being nice since he wanted to see Yvette at that moment. "I'm not eating. Tell my mom to come now!" Wendy was in a difficult spot as she didn't have Yvette's contact at all. Suddenly, someone opened the door. Xavier was standing outside the ward.

"Mr. Lane," Wendy greeted.

"You may leave now," he said.

She placed the food down and exited the ward. Then, she closed the door behind her. With that, Noah and Xavier were the only ones left inside.

When Noah saw Xavier's long face, he didn't know what was going on. "Mister, where is my mom?"

Xavier found a chair and sat down. "Do I need to remind you again? Call me Dad," he said coldly.

Noah started blushing for some reason. Although he could call Claude his dad all he wanted, he still couldn't call his actual dad for who he was. "Hmph! You're not my dad!"

"Shall I show you the DNA test results?" Xavier asked.

Noah pretended to be ignorant. "What's that? I have never heard of those words before, and I'm not interested in replaceing out."

Xavier wasn't as gullible as Yvette, and he knew Noah was as smart as Zachary.

"Let me ask you something. Am I a bad person according to your mom?" he suddenly asked.

Noah wasn't surprised by the question at all. When they were abroad, Yvette almost never spoke about Xavier. She would only act unnatural whenever Xavier appeared on TV or in newspapers.

Back then, Noah had noticed it, and

he'd told Zachary to look into it. That was when they'd found out Yvette and Xavier were married. They'd followed the breadcrumbs and eventually realized they were

Xavier's sons.

"My mom would never badmouth someone behind their backs!" His reply was flawless. When Xavier heard that, he stopped saying anything.

"Where in the world is my mom now?" Noah continued asking.

"She's having a meal with a celebrity now," Xavier answered frustratedly.

"Mr. Aaron?"

Xavier stayed silent.

"It's all your fault. If you hadn't forbidden her from seeing me, why would she have a meal with someone else? She would've been staying by my side right now!" Noah finally understood why Xavier looked so upset.

"Since she likes having a meal with someone else, she still would've gone no matter what. So, what does it have to do with me?" Xavier took a deep breath. "Eat now. Otherwise, I'll tell them to toss away the food."

BUMS

After replaceing out that Yvette was having a meal with someone else, Noah stopped making a scene. Instead, he started eating obediently.

As he ate, he kept looking at Xavier. It seemed to him that Xavier still cared about Yvette, and he figured Xavier was jealous.

While he was having his meal, he decided to comfort Xavier. "Mr. Xavier... My mom is beautiful, and it's normal for her to be liked by many people. As men, we need to be open-minded!" When Xavier heard that many people liked Yvette, he shot Noah a glance and said, "Shut up and eat your food."

After being scolded, Noah stopped coaxing Xavier and just focused on the food. When he was done eating, the bodyguard took the leftovers away.

Yvette still wasn't back yet, and Xavier wanted to go through his documents at first. But when he thought about what Noah had said, he wasn't in the mood at all.

So, he couldn't help asking, "Who else is trying to get Yvette other than Aaron?"
