Unconscious Husband: Meet Her Love In Silence -
Chapter 1799
Losing patience with the manager’s rambling, he scowled and subtly signaled Shawn.
Picking up on Holden’s cue, Shawn asked the manager, “How many security cameras do you have in this hotel?”
The manager pondered for a moment before replying, “Around 45.”
“Hand over all the surveillance footage,” Shawn said.
“Okay, but there’s something you should know.” The manager leaned forward and explained, “Due to some of the hotel’s equipment being out of order, only a few cameras are operational in certain areas.”
Throughout this exchange, Holden remained silent, his attention fixed solely on the surroundings, leaving Shawn to respond to the manager.
After a while, Holden’s bodyguards returned.
The lead bodyguard approached Holden and reported, “Mr.
Fredrick, we’ve inspected every room and found nothing out of the ordinary.”
Holden furrowed his brow and asked in a cold tone, “Are you certain you’ve inspected everywhere?”
The bodyguard paused, lowered his head, and admitted, “I apologize, Mr.
Fredrick.
We haven’t yet inspected the presidential suite area on the top floor because the hotel has denied us access.”
When Holden heard the bodyguard’s words, he turned his head toward the manager, his eyes demanding answers.
The manager, staring into Holden’s intense gaze, seemed like he was about to collapse in fear.
“Mr.
Fredrick… No one has stayed in the presidential suite for a year.
Also, the lock there is broken and hasn’t been repaired yet.”
The manager’s voice trembled.
He was worried Holden might question his honesty.
Holden’s face remained expressionless.

Sensing the tension, Shawn said to the manager, “Mr.
Fredrick is quite busy.
Just provide a solution.
No need for more explanations.”
The manager, catching the hint, wiped his sweaty forehead and quickly said, “Mr.
Fredrick, I’ll have a craftsman come to open the presidential suite door right away!”
Holden didn’t move, staying silent.
The manager looked at Shawn, clearly puzzled.
Shawn then glanced at Holden, who now had a more relaxed expression.
With a firm tone, Shawn told the manager, “Why are you still standing here? Move quickly!”
Hearing this, the manager immediately made a call.
While he waited, Holden noticed a middle-aged man stepping out of the elevator.
The man was wrapped in a bulky jacket, his face hidden by a scarf, and he was pushing a stroller.
“It looks like your business is really busy since you’re getting customers right after reopening,” Holden said to the manager.
The manager had mentioned that there were frequent customers.
Even though the hotel had been downgraded to four stars, it seemed strange for a regular customer to dress so oddly.
Sweat forming on his forehead, the manager explained, “We just had several tourists check in this morning.”
Shawn, observing the manager closely, said, “You didn’t mention any tourists earlier.”
