Summary
After eight years of unrequited love and three years of a hollow marriage, Amara finally breaks free. Once the obedient wife, she emerges from her divorce with a fiery independence. Her estranged husband, who never even bothered to learn her face, is now staring at the divorce papers she's signed with a smirk. But behind that smile, Amara hides her tears, determined to raise her unborn child alone and live life on her own terms.
Just as she begins to rebuild her life, the man who once ignored her existence starts showing up everywhere—unexpectedly defending her, meddling in her love life, and refusing to leave her side. Amara has had enough. "Get lost," she snaps.
But he doesn't. Instead, he drops to one knee, kisses her hand, and looks into her eyes with a devotion she's never seen before. "Marry me, my love."
Amara raises an eyebrow. "Well—that's called a remarriage."
