Kane got to the door of his and Summers' room and stopped in his tracks. He stood there for a minute and stared at the door. How was he going to tell her that the man who torched her for all that time was still alive. Before he could open the door Summer was opening it.

He's back isn't he?

Yes I was coming to tell you. How did you know?

I'm a white wolf. I have better senses than most wolves. I smelled his scent.

She smiled at him, her wolf loving the fact he was so proud of them.

I have no fear of him. I wasn't sure if he was dead or not.I would like to see him if that's okay?

They went and laid down.

Eric knocked on Sam's door and she opened it.

She looked at him and knew something was wrong. She moved so he could come in. He sat on the bed.

What's wrong, Eric talked to me.

He's back Hades, the man who torched the woman I consider my sister. He's back and I don't know how to protect her. I want to kill him all over again. Oh my god Eric i don't know what to say.

He told us one of the things he did to her and all I can think about is what else he did and how bad it got is this why she won't speak about him to us.

Sam came and held him. Eric held on to her for dear life. She could feel his pain because she felt it too. Poor Summer she had to relive her nightmare all over again.

Eric it's okay she is stronger than any of us he hurt her but he didn't kill her she's stronger than you think.

I know it's just the things he said. He made her sleep naked and whipped her for days and goddess knows what else he did to her.

She cried for her friend and for Eric's pain.

It's okay Sam, we will never let her feel that again.

He held her and rubbed her back.

It's late, I'm gonna go. You need rest. We have a long day ahead of us tomorrow.

Don't leave just stay please don't leave me I can't sleep when you're not here.
