Kane laid down next to Summer and put his arm around her waist.

Are you okay?

Yes I just feel useless. I can't do anything.

Baby you're doing more than any of us, you are growing a life in you. That's twelve jobs in one.

I know I just feel useless. I've never been unable to do things before.

You have a few more weeks then you'll have a little one to worry about and everyone else.

She put her hand on her belly and felt her baby move and smiled.

Kane felt him too and felt so much joy.

He really is worth all this Kane. You and him are the reasons I'm thankful for the life I had before you.

I mean I went through all the hell that I did so I could be here in heaven with you guys.

Kane smiled and kissed her softly.

She smiled at him and fell asleep. He looked up at the ceiling in deep thought.he was thankful he had her back in his life she had changed him for the food. The cruelness of his father would always be in him but the kindness of her was also there. He had to figure out how to balance them both.
