Chapter 54. Summers gone

Sam woke up first and she smiled feeling so happy.For the first time in her life she woke up smiling. She never knew what real love was until Eric. He made her feel like she was a queen not just with words but with actions too. Ben had made her feel dirty and nasty just with a look. She never wanted to have Ben's pups and was thankful she never did. When she found out she was having Eric's she was over the moon. His reaction made her heart soar. She kissed his cheek and he opened his eyes. He smiled at her.

Good morning beautiful lady.

Good morning my love, how did you sleep?

Best sleep I'veh had in a lifetime. How did you sleep?

Wonderful always sleep well when you're next to me. And how's our little pumpkin today?

He said as he kissed her stomach.

They seem okay.

He kissed her and got up.

Come on love we got to get ready to meet Kane and Summer. We got work and y'all have something to do too.

Yes we have to take wild man to get clothes and start shopping for our baby stuff.

When they got down to Kane's office they heard him yelling and things being thrown.

Eric looked at Sam with his eyebrow raised and knocked on the door.

Come in Eric and Sam.

They walked in and instantly knew something was wrong. Kane's office was trashed and he was pacing the floor. Where's Summer Kane? What's going on?

She's gone, we had a fight and I went for a run to calm down and when I came back to tell her I was sorry the room was trashed and she was gone.

What do you mean gone Kane?

She got another note and she got really fucking scared. She told me he was going to kill her.And I'm such an idiot I didn't listen to her. She told me the day we hung Hades it wasn't him that he smelled different and his wolf wasn't the same. But I blew it off like she was just scared but she wasn't, she told me and I didn't listen. I'm so fucking stupid and now my soul is gone. She told me he wasn't dead.

Kane handed him the note it said.

Eric looked at Kane. He had no idea what Hades had done to Summer but he knew it had been bad. He hadn't realized how bad because she never talked about it with him or Sam or Kane for that matter. Poor Summer, what did he do to her? Why didn't she talk about it to us? Didn't she know how much we love her. The hell she must go through everyday.

Sam didn't want anyone to know What happened to her. She has been so ashamed of what he did.She told me that if I knew I would never see her the same again.She didn't want sympathy from anyone. Sam summer only told me bits and pieces of the torcher she went through with him. She has never told me everything he did. She wasn't ready to face that. She was starting to open up then this happened. I should have made her talk to me and I should have listened when she said he wasn't dead. She went through a lot of pain at his hands and now he has her again.

It's no one's fault Kane let's just figure out how to get her back.Sam take care of wild man for us please.

She kissed Eric and hugged Kane then left the room.

Kane Summer will be okay. She is one of the strongest people I know.

I know she is but can she really handle what he will do to her?

Yes she is better than any of us and she will survive.
