Warfare of the Brain
Death Pt. 2

Who would’ve thought we’d live to see the day,

When ceasefires are non-negotiable,

And this doomed generation dies, astray;

When soldiers are no longer the main prey,

But children—they’re more abusable.

Who would’ve thought we’d live to see the day?

When more bombs aim at your dust-covered pate,

All social-media-fashionable,

And this doomed generation dies, astray;

When your homes can be stolen by intruders,

And packed hospitals become your new ones.

Who would’ve thought we’d live to see the day?

When those same hospitals are rained with fire –

Because crazed warlust Is incurable –

And this doomed generation dies, astray;

When Earth’s people are split, in division,

Like chopped watermelon in their kitchens:

Cuz who would’ve thought we’d live to this day:

This generation’s freedom wastes away?

…And that is just a tiny fraction:

19, 1000 lines cannot compare

To this living nightmare

…;

We stand with Palestine.
