What Are The Odds?: Chapter 49
Grace.
We didn’t even make it to Levi’s bedroom before he had me pressed against the wall on the staircase, hands slipping into my gym leggings. Now when I stayed the night, I tended to come dressed in whatever I was wearing to practice the next morning. Clothes never stayed on here. And Levi was against me wearing literally anything to bed.
“Fuck. I want you so badly,” he whispered against my ear.
I peered down. While I couldn’t see the guys in the kitchen, I could hear them, their voices floating up through the three-storey void. I tuned them out, focussing on Levi’s lips leaving a trail of kisses over the base of my throat. I inhaled sharply when his fingers parted me.
“So fucking wet.”
I couldn’t help it where he was concerned. Standing on different steps, we were at a good height. Face-to-face. Lips-to-lips. Hips-to-hips.
“Bedroom. Now.”
I shook my head. “No time.”
He pulled back, dark eyes searching mine.
“Hughesy–”
“Sh,” I whispered, my lips replaceing his.
I ground on his hand, encouraging him to keep things moving along. With a grunt he slipped one finger inside, followed by another. His other hand hooked my leg around his waist, bettering the angle. I pressed onto my tippytoes so I could ride his fingers. Each time I came down I ground against his increasing erection. My head fell against the wall, lips falling open. As if predicting the moan that was about to escape, Levi broke it off by kissing me.
“If we’re doing this, you’ve got to be quiet. Can you do that for me?”
Holding his gaze, I nodded.
“Good girl.”
He backed me harder against the wall, so my feet came off the floor. I reached between us and slipped my hand into his pants. I was thankful he was wearing baggy trackies with elastic instead of jeans. His dick pulsed in my palm, straining to be released. I rested my chin on his shoulder, breathy moans falling right into his ear. His thumb danced over my swollen clit, igniting the bundle of nerves. He kept going until I couldn’t take it anymore. Though just as I was about to fall over the edge, he withdrew his hand, leaving me achingly empty.
“What the hell?” I complained.
He eased me onto my feet then tugged me up the final few steps to his level. A second later, I heard footsteps thundering beneath us. One of the guys was coming upstairs. Shit. After hurrying inside his bedroom, Levi closed and locked the door.
“That was too close,” he said in a menacing voice.
His chest heaved up and down at the same pace as mine.
“I’m surprised you heard them coming,” I said.
“Me too. Considering absolutely no blood is going to my brain right now.”
This time he backed me against the dresser. He scooped me up, setting my ass on it and stepping between my legs. We were positioned perfectly again, our centres lined up. He stepped back, lifting my hips so he could slide my leggings off. He took my underwear with them, exposing me entirely. I reached up, getting rid of my own jumper. It was only going to get in the way. Levi’s fingers returned, recreating the same rhythm that’d had me on the edge only moments ago. I reached forward, slipping my hands back around the prize they’d been holding moments ago too. Touching him only turned me on even more. I squeezed my eyes closed as I exploded in pure ecstasy. It came on so quickly I hadn’t been prepared. Before I’d ridden the wave Levi was crouching down, his tongue flicking over my overly sensitive clit. I jarred on the dresser, knocking a pile of folded clothes onto the floor.
“Oh my god,” I cried.
“No god. Just me.”
I sunk my fingers into his hair, needing something to hold onto. His tongue hit all the right spots, at a pressure that had me quivering like the aftershock from an earthquake. Needy whimpers escaped my lips as I fought to regain some control, but there was no point. Levi had me at his mercy right now. Even with my legs spread open and hooked over his shoulders, I didn’t feel self-conscious at all. The fact Levi made it known that he loved getting me off made me feel as though I could enjoy things more, and that I could take my time. Not that I needed time right now. I was way too sensitive. I moved my hips instinctively, teetering on the edge. I fell into another oblivion, my orgasm rocking through my entire body. But he still wasn’t done. He pushed two fingers into me, curling them against the perfect spot that brought on a final wave of euphoria. My skin was tingling from shock. It’d been so much so quickly. I slouched against the wall, completely spent even though I hadn’t done a single thing.
“You taste so good,” Levi croaked, kissing his way back up my legs.
I was too overcome by sensations to even mumble a reply. He hooked my legs around his waist. This time it was to carry me to the bed. I was like a ragdoll in his arms. Every limb in my body was satiated. I doubt I’d even be able to hold myself up. He placed one hand between my shoulder blades while he lowered me down. With his eyes locked on mine, he ripped his t-shirt over his head then stepped out of his pants. My gaze fell to his fist as he wrapped it around himself, pumping a few times.
“Have you come back down to earth yet?” he asked.
I shook my head.
“How are you feeling?”
“Good,” I told him.
His lip flicked up. “Yeah?”
“Really good.”
His chest rose and fell as he exhaled. “I want you to think about that when you’re at Richardson’s game tomorrow.”
He stepped forward, thrusting inside me the slightest fraction. But his words had me floored. I squeezed my legs closed, trapping him.
“Hold on.”
He did, eyebrows pinching together. I pushed onto my elbows then nodded to the dresser.
“That’s what that was about?”
“No. Your moans on the stairs were what that was about.”
He leant on the bed, a hand landing on either side of my head.
“And now I plan for the next part to leave you with an ache you can still feel tomorrow.” He lightly nibbled on my lower lip. “So you can’t forget me.”
A new energy took place beneath my skin, starting in my chest and travelling lower. But first, I needed to get to the bottom of this.
‘Level with me, Holloway. Is there something you want to get off your chest?”
He stilled, arm muscles flexing. “Like?”
“Like does it bother you that I’m going tomorrow?”
“Nope.”
I levelled him with a glare. “Levi.”
“No. Maybe. I don’t know.”
It clearly was bothering him, otherwise he wouldn’t have brought it up. I didn’t want this playing on his mind, and I certainly didn’t want it to distract him from his game tomorrow. He needed to focus on that, not the fact I would be at the football game at the same time.
“I thought we sorted out the whole Ryker thing on Halloween.”
His lips thinned. “You’re killing the mood, Hughesy.”
“Me?” I gasped, laughing. “You started this and you know it.”
He opened his mouth to object, but I spoke over him.
“So you don’t forget me,” I quoted.
He groaned, pulling back slightly.
“Hey.” I wrapped my arms around his neck, keeping him close. “You have nothing to worry about. I’m always thinking about you, Holloway. Just you.”
“Good.” He lazily pressed his lips to mine before pulling back and grinning at me wickedly. “Can I fuck you now?”
Sometimes I swear he’d be able to get me off with his words alone. I nodded eagerly.
