Chapter 0352
“Mom, Cole found out where that scumbag’s company is!” Franklin announced excitedly.
Cole Jones was a small–time thug without a proper job, but he was good at underhanded tricks and shad dealings. Franklin hadn’t expected much when he asked for help, but to his surprise, Cole actually managed to replace the information.
“That’s fantastic! We were just wondering where to start looking for him, and now we’ve got it! Come on, Frankie, let’s go replace him!” Lucy’s eyes lit up with excitement, practically itching to get moving.
All this time, they had only been loitering outside the Johnson estate, hoping to make Evelyn’s life miserable by not letting her leave the house. But now, things were different.
Half an hour later.
“This is Hansel’s company? Such a tall building–must be worth a fortune,” Franklin said, craning his neck to look up at the towering skyscraper in front of them. The greed in his eyes was unmistakable.
Lucy clicked her tongue in admiration. “Wow, your sister really hooked a big fish this time. He looks filthy rich!”
If they could grab a big payout from this, they wouldn’t have to worry about money for the rest of their lives. They exchanged a glance with determination set on their faces and confidently walked toward the
entrance.
However, Hansel’s company was situated in a prime location downtown and had top–notch security. It wasn’t a place they could just stroll into.
Lucy noticed a janitor cleaning nearby and stealthily slipped into the utility room. She managed to swipe two uniforms, and they disguised themselves as janitors to blend in.
Once inside, they gaped at the opulent interior of the building, clearly out of place among the well- dressed employees. But they were oblivious to how much they stood out, gawking left and right like
tourists.
Finally, an elevator arrived, and they shuffled in with the crowd.
“Frankie, did your friend tell you which floor that guy’s on?” Lucy asked, eyeing the multitude of floor buttons in confusion.
Franklin shook his head. “No, but it’s probably the top floor.”
Just as he finished speaking, the elevator chimed, and the doors slid open.
Indeed, it was the top floor. Lucy and Franklin then stepped out of the elevator.
Lucy looked around and asked, “It’s so big. Which way should we go?”
Franklin was just as clueless. This place guess… straight ahead?”
was enormous, and there weren’t any signs to guide them. “I
They decided to take their chances. After walking a short distance, they spotted the words “CEO’s Office“. Franklin’s eyes lit up.

Suddenly…
“You two, hold on! Yes, I’m talking to you!”
Hansel’s assistant had risen from his desk and was now striding toward them, his gaze growing more suspicious with every step.
“Which floor’s cleaning crew are you from? What are you doing on the top floor?”
They were heading straight for Hansel’s office… Something wasn’t right!
“S–Sorry,” Lucy stammered, quickly fabricating a story. “We’re new here. We must’ve taken the wrong elevator and ended up on the top floor. But since we’re already here, we thought we might as well clean up
As she spoke, she started moving toward the CEO’s Office.
“Stop right there! Mr. Johnson’s office isn’t a place where random people can just wander in. There’s a dedicated cleaning crew for this floor. You’re not needed here.”
The assistant’s eyes narrowed as he looked more closely at Franklin. This “cleaner” looked way too young. And to top it off, he was a man!
Frowning, he said, “If you took the elevator up, you should have been issued a work ID. Show it to me.”
Lucy froze.
Franklin, who was still young and inexperienced, began to panic. His eyes darted around nervously.
The assistant was now certain something was off. “If you can’t produce a work ID, I’ll have to call the police.”
Seeing that their disguise was busted, Lucy dropped all pretense. She straightened up with a sneer. “Who said we’re cleaners? I’m here to see Hansel Johnson. Where is he? Tell him to come out!”
