When His Eyes Opened novel by Simple Silence -
Chapter 3120
The furnishing inside had not changed from three years ago.
The only change was that there was no trace of human habitation inside.
Lucas returned to his bedroom.
It was cleaned up inside!
All the old things he had left at home were gone.
He walked to the cabinet and found that it was also clean.
There were no old things of his in this home. Even the old clothes in his closet were thrown away.
Lucas came out of the auxiliary building just as Mr. and Mrs. Hogan came over.
"Lucas, what old things are you looking for? Your stepmother said that you don't seem to need any of your old things, so she asked the servant to take them and throw them away. I'll buy you new ones for wha you want!" Mr. Hogan opened his mouth with a face of guilt.
Lucas: "I have an old mobile phone in the cabinet; where is that mobile phone?"
Mr. Hogan immediately looked at his wife and asked, "Did you throw away his mobile phone too?"
Mrs. Hogan looked flustered: "It seems that I have a mobile phone! But that mobile phone has been around for a long time! The screen is also broken, and the paint on the fuselage is also peeled off. I thought it was a mobile phone that was no longer needed, so I... "
Lucas clenched his fists and strode away.
Mr. Hogan immediately chased after him: "Lucas, I'm sorry! I apologize to you on behalf of your stepmother! Your stepmother's behavior is indeed too much! I will teach her a lesson later! Did you save important things on your old phone? It's a pity that even the money can't be found now."
Lucas: "I will never come back to this family. Take care of yourself!"
Mrs. Hogan threw away all his things; no matter how he looked at it, he was not welcome to come back.
He also disdained having anything to do with the Hogan family.
Lucas drove home at night.
When he arrived at the gate of the community, he saw Hazel chatting with the security guard at the gate with breakfast in her hand.
It should be that she wanted to go in but was stopped by the security guard.
Lucas blew the whistle out of nowhere.
Hazel immediately looked toward his car.
Seeing that it was him, Hazel immediately ran to his car.
"Boss, did you come back from the hospital? You got up so early today?" Hazel said. She opened the door and got in the car.
Lucas: "Did you tell the security guard that you came to replace me?"
Hazel: "Yes! But this security guard is not very talkative; he doesn't want to let me in."
Lucas drove the car into the community and asked, "When do you plan to leave?"
Hazel: "Should be this Saturday! Boss, why are you asking this?"
Lucas: "That man last night, what's the relationship between you two?"
Hazel blinked: "That's my cousin! He was afraid that it would be unsafe for me to come here alone, so he came with me." Speaking of this, Hazel changed the subject: "I'll buy you breakfast! But if you've eaten I'll put breakfast in the fridge. I can't eat that much by myself."
"I didn't eat." Lucas smelled the aroma of breakfast, and felt a little uncomfortable in his stomach right now.
