When They Beg, I Rise! -
Chapter 299
"Yes, crawl out!"
"Scum, freak!"
All the girls were hurling insults at Jackson, some even tossing trash bins his way.
At this moment, Jackson was mess, looking like he might have broken his leg, having no choice but to painfully crawl down the stairs!
Just then, the dorm keeper approached, "What's going on here? Why are you attacking him?"
As soon as Jackson saw the dorm keeper, he blurted out, "Lemira started it! She even called me a creep!"
The dorm keeper quickly clarified, "Jackson here was just participating in a drill. He's no creep!"
Realizing the situation, Lemira understood that the dorm keeper had been bribed. No wonder he managed to sneak in.
Suddenly, Clara, her face flushed, ran out and hugged Jackson's neck, "Jackson, didn't you say you were going to sneak into Lemira's room tonight and drug her to teach her a lesson? Why are you leaving?" Lemira could tell Clara was under the influence of whatever was in that bottle.
Lemira glared coldly at the dorm keeper, "There, that's the truth. Call the cops!"
As Lemira suggested calling the police, the dorm keeper loudly objected.
"No, we can't call the police! It's all a misunderstanding!"
The dorm keeper was also panicking; if the police were involved and made the matter more serious, it could mean the end of her job.
Clara shouted, "This is no misunderstanding. Jackson had plans for Lemira, that's why he did this. And it's not the first time he's done something like this, right? You've always turned a blind eye!" Clara, not in her right mind, was saying whatever came to her mind.
The dorm keeper went pale with fear, "You-you're talking nonsense, I had no idea about this."
"Stop spouting nonsense and get out of my way!"
Jackson forcefully pushed Clara away, threatening Lemira, "I won't let this go so easily!"
Lemira's lips curled into a cold smirk, "Might as well save it for the cops."
And that was the end of it. Soon, police cars arrived at the dorm, and the officers detained Jackson as they got down, "You're coming with us."
"Let me go, I've been framed!"
Lemira scoffed, "Are you saying someone framed you into dressing up as a woman and sneaking into the girls' dorm at night?"
"I was participating in a drill and was able to get in with the dorm keeper's approval."
The dorm keeper quickly denied, "Don't talk nonsense, I-I didn't allow anything!"
By then, the dorm keeper couldn't admit to anything.
Regardless of what Jackson said
next, he was taken away by the police. Watching this unfold, Lemira's lips curled up slightly feeling justice had been served.
However, the dorm keeper was terrified, confronting Lemira, "You and Jackson were a couple, why blow things up like this?"
"I have nothing to do with Jackson."
"No relation? But he confessed his feelings for you in broad daylight."
Lemira's reply was laced with scorn,
"So his confession makes us a couple? Don't try to slander me. You'd better worry about how you're going to explain to the manager about accepting bribes and letting boys into the girls' dorm."
The dorm keeper collapsed, realizing everything was over. That was when Janice led a round of applause, "Lemira did the right thing, she got rid of the evil!" "Right, I always knew Jackson was trouble. He's harmed a lot of girls."
At that moment, Lemira was surrounded by a wave of applause. She knew, justice would never be defeated!
Lemira gazed at the girls, "Everyone,
head back and rest. Remember to send the videos you took tonight to the school as evidence. Today, we all stand as witnesses. They might silence one of us, but they can't silence us all!"
Today, they were all heroes. With that said, Lemira returned to her room. Soon after, Janice helped a visibly shaken Clara back.
