Raphael’s POV

When this girl named Sasha put her forehead on Jess’s forehead. Jess became very calm but then she passed out. Leo was quick to grab her before she could fall to the floor. “What the hell did you do to her?!” Ryan yelled. Rose went over to calm her mate down. “I just put her to sleep like I always did. Midnight’s stress was too high even, the were-liquor wasn’t helping. She will be fine in a couple hours in time for dinner. Leo could you please put her in the bed so she can rest properly?” She asked her alpha. “Alright Sasha, but you have some explaining to do.” Leo said. She nodded and then her eyes glazed over. She must be mink-linking someone. Then the other girl went around to the windows making sure they were locked and secured.

The man did the same thing with the door and then he put a wired paper thing on the door after he closed and locked it. “Sasha, do we really need one of Rico’s talesments on the door?” One of the triplets asked. “Yes Hero. I want to make sure the information I am going to give does not leave those who are in this room.” she exclaimed. Once everyone was back by the sofas and the triplets were sitting close to Jess at the foot of her bed, Sasha began to explain. “Okay first of my name is Sasha Delgado. This here is my older twin brother Ricardo Delgado, we are the beta twins of Raven Moon. We are special wolves just like Jessabelle. I am a theleph wolf, and my brother here is a barrier wolf. I can communicate and read the minds of those around me, and for special wolves I can communicate with them no matter the distance. Rico can create any kind of barrier to keep the ones inside it safe. The barrier he placed on this room keeps the room closed off from the outside world so to speak. If anyone was trying to enter without the consent of the owner would get a small electric shock.” Sasha paused as if waiting for us to absorb the information she has given us so far. “OK, so what did you mean when you told Jess you knew you would meet her face to face?” Jorge asked.

Sasha smiled and said. “When my powers first surfaced I was only 10. 10 seems to be the age when a lot of wolves with gifts tend to get their gifts. At first it is scary and I was worried I would be used for my gifts or feared because of them. Then I had a dream of the Moon Goddess. She told me that she had created Rico and I to protect a very special wolf. When the time was right the wolf would call out to me, and Ruby would help me through what was needed. Basically the Moon Goddess had created my brother and I to be Jessabelle’s personal bodyguards so to speak. When I first felt her wolf call to me it was agitated with fear and the stress was increasing. Before I could help, I lost the connection. Ruby said that she was forced to shift back to her human form.”

I looked up “That was the first time Jess heard that man’s voice in her head. What can you tell us about this man?” I asked. Sasha looked at Rico for a moment, then he spoke up. “We don’t know his name, but from what we have gathered while abroad he is a powerful hybrid. Half wolf and half vampire. He has lived for a long time prying on the Moon Goddess’s gifted children. From what we understand he has traveled from different territories looking for gifted wolves.” I cut him off with a question that has always bothered me. “How can he go in and out of different territories without being noticed. The first couple years whenever Jess gave us a direction, we would replace no trace of his scent anywhere. He didn’t start leaving it until last year, and it was always around Jess’s things.”

The young lady who checked the windows finally spoke up. “He is trying to turn her feral with the stress of being hunted. Wolves that go feral are usually banished and turn rouge in the wolf world, so it is how he isolates his targets. No matter how strong the warrior a wolf is, becoming feral puts you in your weakest state of mind.” She said. I looked at her and then towards Jess, still sleeping in her bed. “I am sorry, who are you?” She smiled and bowed “I apologize. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Sophie Delgado. I am the gamma of the Raven Moon pack. I am not a special wolf like my elder siblings, but I am very knowledgeable and have done quite a bit of research and investigations on this man.”

I nodded. “So how can we help Jess?” I asked. Jorge and Ryan shot up too. I knew they wanted to help as well. Jess had become a little sister to all of us. Sasha answered. “There really is nothing you and the members of your pack can do, but give her support and love her unconditionally. Bonds like those are what has kept her and Midnight from becoming feral since this man has set his sights on her. From now on she will need to train with Rico and I to increase her mental strength and prepare her to use her ture gift when the time comes.” True gift? “What do you mean true gift?” Was there something Jess has not told us about her?

“All I know is it is a gift the Moon Goddess will give her when she reaches 24 years old. The only way this bastard could have found her anyway else was if he had a sample of her b***d.” Jorge paled and shot out of his seat. “That is it! That is how he found her.” We all looked at him. “What do you mean Jorge?” Ryan asked. He turned towards Ryan and me. “Remember that day when Jess told us what happened to her Luna at Red Moon when she was just 13?” “Yeah, she and the luna were attacked by rouges and then the luna died saving Jess.” Ryan stated. Jorge shook his head and said “That’s not the only thing that happened that day. Jess said that one of the rogues bit her arm. That is how that bastard got her b***d and found her in the first place. He must have been watching her for longer than we thought.” I was fuming. If Jess didn’t leave Red Moon when she did. Midnight would have turned feral for sure. With how they treated her then.

How could someone be so sick and power hungry that they would stalk a woman from the age of 13 just to take her powers. I turned to the triplets. “Leo. Zero. Hero. I would like to enter a full long term alliance with Raven Moon. Jess is like a younger sister to me and most of the pack. I know Raven Moon would give their lives to protect her, but I want to be there as well for whatever is needed.” Leo, Zero, and Hero all looked at each other and then Leo nodded to me. “We would like that very much Raphael. Jessabelle is our Luna, our love, our reading for breathing. We would move heaven and earth to keep her safe from this man.” one of them said. I guess Jess is the only one to really tell them apart. I thought to myself. I nodded back and said “Then while Jess sleeps we can draw up a formal treaty and I’ll bring it back for your three to sign. I know you don’t want to leave her right now. Ryan you stay with Jess as well. Mind link me if you need anything.” Ryan nodded and stood between Jess and the window. “Sophie, please go with Alpha Raphael to help draw up the treaty. Sasha and Rico will stay here with us.” With that Odette, Sophie, Jorge, and I went to my office to draw up the treaty. Rose and Stella went to go check on the children and Ryan, Sasha, Rico and the triplets stayed with Jess. I praised to the Moon Goddess that we can catch this son of a b***h before she turns 24 and we don’t have a whole lot of time. Jessabelle’s 24th birthday was in 3 months.
