Jess’s POV

Leo had a tight grip around me. I guess this kidnapping had them more scared then I thought. I know my alphas were worried, but they seem to be more protective than usual. I look towards William and Zero. They are squaring off towards each other, Loki is snarling and ready to pounce and sink his teeth into William, and Leo is pulling me as close as he can to him. “Leo, I can fight too, you know. I am not some weak damsel in distress.”

Leo pulled me closer, if that was even possible, and nuzzled his head into my neck. Breathing in my scent. From how tight he is holding me he seems to be making sure that I was real and truly safe and in one piece. “We know you are strong, princess. You already proved that by you not only planning your own escape, but helping Shianna as well.” He said, then he pulled his head back to face me. “But now it is our job, not only as your mates, but as fathers to protect you and our child from any threat.” I nod to what he said. ‘Wait a minute? Child? Fathers?’

I looked at Leo in confusion. “What child?” I asked. Leo looked back at me as if I had grown a second head. “We did a tracking spell on Alex and Spike. Spike found the way here and told us that you are with child. Did Midnight not say anything?” Midnight nervously chuckled in my head. ‘Surprise Jess, we are going to be a mother.’ She fidgets around in my head. Like a child that got caught stealing cookies out of the cookie jar.

‘Oh don’t even missy… How am I the last one to replace out that I am going to have a child? Even when the child is growing inside of me.’ I roll my eyes at her. That now explains why I have been a lot hungrier than normal, and my mates behavior. I heard a g***n and saw William fling Zero into the mountain side as if he weighed nothing. Loki launched himself at William. Aiming for his neck, but William dodged it completely. Getting behind Loki, William grabbed his tail and flung him through a peach tree.

“Zero! Hero!” I called out. William turned towards Leo and I. “The last gifted wolf I took was able to enhance the abilities that us werewolves already have. So I am faster and stronger than a normal alpha.” William snickered as he began to walk towards me and Leo. Leo pushed me behind him. Before William could get too close to us, Zero had shifted into Lucifer and went after him. Just barely missing his claws, William was forced to jump back.

Only to be met with Loki’s claws waiting for him. Watching how Zero and Hero were working together it kept William on the defensive. ‘Leo I think I figured out how to kill him.’ I mind linked him. Leo looked at me, waiting for me to tell him. ‘If you and your brothers could keep him on the defensive, I can nail him with one of Tasha’s poisons. Even if he can enhance the abilities of a normal wolf, he would still have the weaknesses of a wolf.’

Like Tasha always said, no matter how strong the wolf is… they become no more than a weak puppy under the conditions of being injected with wolfsbane or silver. Leo smiled at me. ‘How did we get such a clever mate. Alright we will buy some time, just give us the signal to clear a shot for you through our link.’ Leo mindlinked me as he let go of me. He shifted and joined his brothers, while I dashed towards Tasha’s corpse.

Tasha always tried to account for every outcome. So I know she would have had something on her to fight werewolves at a distance. I searched her pockets. I found bombs with wolfsbane and silver, but that would hurt my alphas too. I looked under her right sleeve and found a weird looking bracelet. I pulled it off and inspected it. I pushed a button on the bottom and the bracelet sprang into a mini crossbow. I searched Tasha’s other pockets and found a pouch on her left leg filled with small silver arrows.

I’m good with a regular bow and arrow for archery, but I never really messed with a crossbow. ‘Why don’t you just use the arrows? Move them with our mind and pretend you are shooting a bow.’ Midnight said in my mind. ‘That is perfect, Midnight. Thanks for the idea.’ I thanked her and grabbed the arrows. I found myself a little perch in a tree. My triplets were still working together and William was still on the defensive side. William was still in human form, he either couldn’t shift or thought he was strong enough to fight only in his human form.

I breathed in and out, then I used my power to lift four of the arrows into the air. I pretended that I was drawing back a bow and aimed right where I wanted the arrows to go. ‘Alright you guys. Make him jump towards the mountain about 4 feet and I will have a shot.’ I mindlinked my alphas. Hero snarled and snapped his jaws at William, making him more the way I wanted. ‘NOW MOVE!’ I screamed in our mindlink.

All three jumped away from William and he was confused for a few seconds. Those few seconds was all it took for me to send the arrows flying. An arrow sunk into each shoulder and one into each leg. He roared in pain. The triplets took this chance to end it once and for all. Leo/Fang sunk their teeth into William’s throat, Zero/Lucifer bit into his torso, and Hero/Loki had William’s legs in their mouth. The triplets all pulled their own way and ripped William into pieces. The triplets howled in victory as William laid there in pieces at their paws.

I got down from the tree and was tackled to the ground by my three huge alpha mate’s wolves. I laughed as they licked my face and nuzzled me. “Hahaha ok, ok, that’s enough.” I managed to say while laughing. They backed up and I picked myself up and dusted myself off. Lucifer and Loki started sniffing around my belly. I patted their heads. “I think they are fine. If they are anything like us, then our pup is strong.” I say to comfort them, as well as myself.

I looked around and all the rogues that were around us were dead too. Shianna and the others were running towards us. All the boys had nothing but basketball shorts on and Sasha had a plain, oversize black t-shirt on. Alex beats them and engulfed me in a tight hug. Picking me up and twirling me around in his arms. “Oh my Moon Goddess, you gave me one hell of a fright. This was worse than when you just upped and ran away from home.” Alex said, hugged me tighter. So tight I felt some of my bones crack a bit.

“Alex. Can’t. Breathe.” I say while trying to gasp for air a bit. “Oh, sorry. My bad.” He said as he gently set me down on the ground and let me go. Strong arms wrapped around me from behind. I looked back and saw it was Zero this time. Him and his brothers were now wearing basketball shorts as well. I missed seeing their rippling muscles. “Don’t get distracted honey. Nothing is going to happen until you get a check up.” Hero whispered in my ear. I felt my face heat up as I got caught staring at them. “Though we still have one more thing to do before we leave.” I say. Looking at Shianna, she smiled and nodded. Then she dashed off.

“What is it?” Leo asked, looking back and forth between Shianna and me. “Well evil or not. Tasha and William were not only Sabrina’s siblings, but Shianna’s parents. I want them to be set to rest properly.” I say as I use my powers to lift William’s body parts and set them in a neat pile. Sabrina cried softly as she turned and saw Shianna bringing Tasha’s body with the head laying on the stomach. Shianna laid her mother next to her father’s remains.

Before anyone else could move, someone called out for Sabrina. “Sabrina!” a deep voice called. We all turned and saw it was Brandon. He ran to her and engulfed her in a tight hug of his own. “Is it all over now?” he asked. “Almost.” Sabrina said softly as Shianna had smashed two rocks together over a couple of sticks. In a few minutes she made two small torches and handed one to Sabrina.

Sabrina went over to Tasha’s body and Shianna went over to William’s. “May you both replace peace and be united again in the next life.” Sabrina said as she set her sister’s body a blaze. Shianna did the same for her father. The fires merged into one big flame. I watched the flames dance and eat away at the bodys. Then Shianna grabbed my hand. I turned to look at her and saw the tears in her eyes.

I squeezed her hand and looked back into the fire. I got a shock of my own as I saw two figures in the flames. I looked closer and it was Tasha and William, but they were smiling kindly at us. The same kind of smile they had when we first saw them in the memory mind share. Back when they were so happy. They bowed their heads to us and raised into the sky with the smoke from the fire. It was truly over. I look at my friends, family, and loved ones. “Let’s go home guys.” I said with a smile on my face.
