Thirty more minutes and he arrived at her place and walked up to her door and stopped when he overheard voices from inside.

Realizing who it could be, his stances changed almost immediately as he gave a sharp knock and having realized that the door wasn’t exactly locked. he pushed against it and went inside.

The scene before him wasn’t exactly as he had imagined it to be as he found Aria seating across from Henry, her head thrown back and laughing at whatever nonsense he was saying to her.

The chattering voices came to a stop as both head turned to stare at him when they noticed his presence, with shock clearly written on both their faces.

“Frank!” Aria had exclaimed before she got up on her feet and rushed to his side.

“Sorry to interrupt your little moment but I needed to come see my girlfriend”

Sarcasm was clearly evident in his voice as he turned and glared at Henry who only cleared his throat and got back his feet as well.

Henry was about to say something but Aria beat him to it.

“You didn’t interrupt anything. Henry and I were just chilling after having dinner a while ago” she had explained, with both her hand anchored against her waist.

Aria knew him too well to also realize what he could be getting at. It’s not like he was exactly in a position to think of her in any degrading manner even if he never said it out.

She could still see it in his eyes as they kept glaring at her neighbor.

Henry moved from one feet to the next while Frank only nodded at Aria’s comment without saying another word.

“It’s okay Aria, I will just take my leave. Thanks for having me”

He shoot Aria a small smile before acknowledging Frank with a nod and walked out.

Frank stood with a scowl on his face with Henry walking out the door before turning to Aria with a disapproved glare.

“I don’t mean to sound controlling but I don’t want that guy around you especially not behind closed doors” he snapped at her and Aria replied with a scoff.

“And that’s coming from someone who is never around when I need him because he is just so busy building a bond with his new family” Aria had countered back.

Frank quickly closed the distance between them and reached for her hands. “I’m sorry I haven’t been the kind of boyfriend you can count on lately but trust me, I haven’t done anything that would put our relationship in jeopardy”

“How easy it is for you to ask me to trust you around that woman when you don’t even trust me around my neighbor”

“You know I trust you one hundred percent and with all my heart but I would be stupid to trust that guy around you” he deadpan feeling more ticked off.

“And why not?” She asked him with a raised brow.

“Well,because he has that look in his eyes whenever he smiles at you and trust me, I feel like strangling him each time he flashes it at you like a lunatic”

Aria was baffled at his statement as her hands slumped back to her side.

“Darling listen, Henry is just a friend, nothing more and I won’t have you treat him like an enemy because he is not”

“I don’t know what you see in that guy but you need to be careful and no….” Holding a finger up to correct the impression she had going on, on her face “….am not jealous because I know you are all mine” He ended with a smirk and pulled her into his arms and placed a k**s against her lips.

Moment later, Aria laid beside Frank on the cushion with her head resting against his chest while he played with loose strands of her hair.

This moment was all that mattered to him as his eyes was closed while his fingers continued to comb through her hair with a blissful look on his face.

He was in tune with the peace and quiet that surrounded them at the moment.

“Are you awake?” He asked, his voice barely audible

“Uhm”

“Mom wants to meet Daniel and I want you to come along”

Her eyes snapped open at his words. Was he really serious?

“Me? How about Daniel’s Mom. Isn’t she supposed to be there as well?”

“Absolutely not. Just me, you and Daniel”

To Aria, she was glad Frank was trying to make her a priority over his baby mama but maybe he was missing the point at the moment.

The last thing she wanted was give her the impression of stealing her son away from her.

“Will his mother be there?”

“Yes”

“Can I seat back from this one?”

“No! I need you there with me Aria” He sounded desperate and almost pleading.

She was quiet for a moment before she raised her eyes to meet his serious ones looking down at her with finality written in them.

“What if your mom asked that you marry her because of your son”

“My mom doesn’t control my life and besides you know I wouldn’t even if the world falls down on me”

At his words, Aria pulled him in for a quick k**s.

“I will be there” she answered with a smirk.

His eyes became dark with desire as he reach down and cupped her face between his palm before he captured her lips between his and began to deepen the k**s with each taste of her lips and before you know it, Aria was straddling him on the chair as he kissed his way down towards one of her nipple that had escaped her loose blouse and the rest was history.
