"Yohan."

Coralie entered the ward.

"Don't worry, I'll make her wake up today."

Yohan comforted Coralie.

He placed his palm on Coralie's shoulder heavy-heartedly.

"Miss Chariott..." Seeing Coralie, the doctor reacted as if he was seeing his life savior, "Patients have different reactions. I guarantee that there wasn't any mistake in the surgery that day. However, there's nothing I can do if the patient isn't awake!"

"What do you mean!"

Yohan hit the doctor's head after hearing what the doctor said. The doctor lost balance, almost falling onto the machine.

"Don't hit him. Don't hit him. I believe that, as a doctor, he wouldn't want this to happen either."

Coralie immediately blocked him when she saw him throwing a fit.

She knew Yohan too well. If she didn't stop him, she couldn't imagine what would happen next.

"Why don't we transfer her to another hospital?"

The main surgeon was a middle-aged man, probably in his forties. He looked at Coralie gratefully, suggesting that.

"Transfer her to Sacred Heart Hospital?"

Coralie helped the surgeon stand up while asking him.

"Yes, the facilities and quality of doctors in the Sacred Heart Hospital are at a much higher level."

The surgeon could tell that apart from monitoring Hera, that hospital was not able to do much else.

"Then transfer her as soon as possible!"

Yohan shouted.

He was the one who found that main surgeon. Yohan always felt that he was fully responsible for Hera's comatose state.

Hera was transferred to Sacred Heart Hospital in the afternoon that same day.

Undeniably, being the most prestigious private hospital in the country, Sacred Heart Hospital had undoubtedly exceeded the level of any other hospitals, be it facilities and equipment, or doctors' qualifications and experiences.

It was even more superior to the hospital that Harvey was working in.

After settling Hera down, Coralie familiarized herself with the hospital's emergency passages.

"Coralie."

Coralie heard someone call her as soon as she arrived on the first floor.

She turned around and saw a lady in a wheelchair. That person was Valerie!

"What?"

Coralie and Valerie had a bad relationship; in fact, it was terrible. She still feared what happened in the past. If Skylar had not arrived in time, she might have been tarnished. "Long time no see."

Valerie looked up at Coralie.

The last time she saw Coralie was a year ago. That time, Coralie and Hendric were at the restaurant with Skylar.

However, Coralie was now a completely different person. Currently, Coralie was in her best state regardless of dressing, aura or skin condition. She did not look like she was in her thirties. Valerie felt jealous of Coralie.

"Miss Rae, I don't intend to see you."

Coralie was hostile toward her.

"But Coralie, my leg was disabled because of you. How could you treat me like this?" Valerie deliberately brought that matter up, "Do you know? Skylar doesn't want me and now Jasper's mother also despises me. It's all your fault that I've become like this!"

Valerie controlled her wheelchair to get in front of Coralie.

She was reluctant!

She plotted a scheme for Coralie to have a miscarriage, but she accidentally sacrificed her leg. However, everything that happened after wasn't great even though she was disabled. Skylar did not marry her and Jasper's mother looked down on her.

At that moment, Valerie even regretted plotting against Coralie back then.

"Miss Rae." Coralie squatted down and looked at Valerie's legs. Once again, she asked the question that had left her curious for long, "Was it really a car accident that time?"

It seemed that Coralie was able to let go now. She no longer had any concerns.

Without Skylar, she did not care about anything else, especially Valerie. There was nothing she was concerned about.

"Are you still suspicious over this matter? How stupid was I to sacrifice my leg just to plot against you?"

Although Valerie felt guilty, she still looked into Coralie's eyes.

She already sent away the driver whom she hired to hit Coralie.

"Perhaps you never intended to sacrifice your leg, but accidents happen."

"I shouldn't have saved you! I should've let you die! I was just worried that Brother Skylar would be sad if you died."

Valerie bit her lip as if she was about to cry.

Hearing Skylar's name, Coralie and Valerie could not continue the conversation anymore. Coralie got up and left hurriedly.

Skylar had become an untouchable scar deep in Coralie's heart. She could not touch it. She did not dare to touch it. Once she did so, the scar would reopen and she would begin to bleed uncontrollably. "Coralie, I thought you left already. Why did you come back? You should have never come back!"

Seeing Coralie leave, Valarie controlled her wheelchair and followed behind.

As the wheelchair was automatic, it would move forward as long as she pressed the button. Soon, she managed to block Coralie's way.

"Get out of my way!"

Coralie didn't expect Valerie to follow her.

"I knew it. You left your child for Skylar and ran away with another man! How could someone like you deserve to be loved by Brother Skylar? Get out of here! Leave with your f*cking man!"

Valerie hated Coralie to the core. She had totally lost her reserved image that she usually had.

Recently, she had begun to slowly approach Skylar. However, at that crucial moment, Coralie appeared in A City again. How could she take that!

"You scolded my woman?"

While Valerie was telling her off, Yohan walked towards them from outside. He heard every single word that Valerie had said, so he came over with a dark expression on his face. He walked to stand beside Coralie, staring at Valerie.

"Leonardo..."

"You know each other?"

Coralie noticed Valerie's expression when she saw Yohan. It was fear. It was obvious that they knew each other.

"No! We don't know each other!"

Valerie turned the direction of her wheelchair and fled frantically when she saw Yohan.

She had done a lot of bad things. However, there was only one thing that she was determined not to let anyone know, which was giving Skyton Corporation's bid to Yohan.

That was the beginning of everything that had happened.

The saddest part was, even after she had done that, everything still didn't go as she planned.

"You know each other?"

Coralie asked Yohan after seeing Valerie retreat.

Actually, even if Yohan did not say, she had an answer already. That answer was they knew each other. "Yes, we met when studying abroad."

Yohan explained.

"And then?"

"There's no more."

Although Yohan said so, Coralie did not believe him at all. However, she was not able to interrogate Yohan.

She could only go upstairs with him.

"By the way, I'll ask the designer to take your measurements. They will customize a wedding dress just for you."

Yohan said as he walked.

Hearing that, Coralie stopped walking. She looked up at Yohan and said seriously, "Yohan, if my mother doesn't wake up, can we postpone our wedding?" Preparing for a wedding when mom was still in a coma?

Coralie couldn't do such a thing.
