"Yohan, please don't talk anymore. I beg you," Coralie pleaded.

She almost tore off the whole of her dress lining and was hugging Yohan tightly, especially at the part that was bleeding. She wasn't sure if she was doing it correctly, but that was the only thing that she could do.

She realized that even though Yohan had done so many things in the past, she still couldn't bear to watch him die.

Maybe he had been bleeding way too much or maybe Coralie's bandage was effective, but the blood wasn't dripping down anymore.

"Actually, I regret that I came late. After I investigated you, I found out that your ex-husband cheated on you. I was wondering if everything would be different if I was the one you met at that time." Yohan leaned forward on Coralie's shoulder and spoke slowly.

"Close your eyes and have a rest. I think we are not far away from the shore," Coralie replied.

She had no way of answering this hypothetical statement.

She stood up and saw the land. However, given the speed of both the hot air balloon and the wind, they might have to float around for a while longer.

However, the hot air balloon was getting closer and closer to the surface of the sea...

She wasn't sure why. Perhaps the wind wasn't strong enough.

Coralie looked up and saw the hot air balloon fluttering above them. The thermal equipment was still functioning.

"What's wrong?" Yohan asked.

Yohan realized that Coralie was just standing there without saying a word.

He barely managed to stand up. Obviously, Yohan realized that the height of the hot air balloon was getting lower as well. He took out the phone in his pocket and dialled a number. However, no one answered the phone even after a long wait.

Yohan didn't give up, so he dialled another number.

His hands were shaking violently and his face got paler.

"Yohan, what's wrong?" Coralie asked.

Coralie held his hand and helped him hold on to his phone.

"Ha." Yohan kneeled down again, but every move was worsening his wound. In order to stop Coralie from worrying, he gritted his teeth and remained silent.

He said, "Corrie, I have something to send to you. It will definitely help you one day."

Yohan logged into the email using his phone and seemed to be sending something to Coralie.

Coralie didn't have her phone with her so she didn't know what he was sending her.

"What is it?" Coralie asked.

"It's another bad thing that I've done to you," Yohan replied.

"You..." Coralie said.

"I will never hurt you again." After sending the email, Yohan deleted both the sent mail and even the original copy. Then, he stood up and looked at the land in the distance. "Corrie, initially, there would be a speedboat which would pick us up to bring us to shore when the hot air balloon reaches this height."

He pointed to the shore nearby as he spoke.

Coralie saw that there were pink balloons on the shore, which was the sign of their wedding.

"So..."

Coralie seemed to have realized what he meant after he said that.

Currently, the hot air balloon would be approaching the surface of the sea in another 10 meters of distance. At this speed, they definitely couldn't reach the shore but would fall directly into the sea. Yohan was injured, and she hadn't recovered from the side effects of the concussion yet. Forget swimming, it would be a challenge for her to even walk to the shore when they were on land.

"I'm sorry that I have done so many things which hurt you before." Yohan extended his arms and hugged Coralie. He almost lost all of his strength and could only barely hug her.

There was a hint of reluctance on his handsome face.

"It doesn't matter. Everything is ok now," Coralie comforted him.

In fact, Coralie knew that she might never forgive Yohan for hurting Hendric, but she knew what he was planning to do next, and she couldn't allow him to do it...

The hot air balloon dropped slowly and they were just a few hundred meters away from the shore. However, judging by the hot air balloon's landing speed, they would definitely fall into the sea first. "I have a question..."

"I won't answer!" Coralie pointed at the hot air balloon and said. "Even if the hot air balloon falls into the sea, it will float up. The balloon is so light."

Yes, it was so light. Coralie finally realized that even if the hot air balloon dropped, they would also not fall into the sea.

Definitely not!

Therefore, Yohan shouldn't jump. They had to reach the shore together, then, Yohan would be saved.

Coralie held on to Yohan's hand tightly because she was really afraid that he would jump out of the balloon.

"Corrie, there's a heating device above us. If it falls, we'll be thrown into the sea first..."

Yohan's strength was draining to his last reserves. He forced a smile to comfort Coralie.

"No, it won't!" Coralie shouted.

"Corrie, let me ask you." Yohan stood opposite Coralie and looked at her. He enunciated, "If Skylar was never in the picture, would you fall in love with me if you met me first?"

Coralie hesitated for a moment, then said, "I would."

Everything that Yohan did was so that Coralie would forget about her relationship with Skylar and cut off contact with him.

He was selfish and unethical. However, his goal was to get Coralie.

Even though his love later turned into possessiveness and he even hurt her, he still planned this wedding wholeheartedly, didn't he?

Yohan smiled brightly after hearing Coralie's reply and his handsome face seemed to be slightly more radiant at this point. "Today is the day that I had looked forward to the most. In fact, I know that even if today's wedding went smoothly, our future would not be perfect because your heart is full of Skylar. There might never be space for me. Luckily, I have this day..."

Yohan leaned forward and kissed Coralie as he spoke.

As their lips touched, the coldness of Yohan's lips was immediately transferred to her body.

This kiss was so cold that it chilled her to the bones.

The next second, Yohan's lips left Coralie's and he jumped right into the sea!

"Yohan!" Coralie shouted.

When she rushed over, Yohan had already jumped into the sea.

His body had fallen into the blue sea in an instant and the ripples were splashing everywhere. His white suit was floating on the sea; it seemed so vague but it stayed there forever. The hot air balloon was still floating.

It was getting further from where Yohan had fallen into the water.

"Yohan, Yohan!"

Coralie was screaming from the hot air balloon.

At the very moment that Yohan jumped off, the hot air balloon obviously rose significantly as the load of the weight was reduced.

For the first time in a long while, Coralie was completely desperate.

She was observing Yohan from afar. He was still floating on the sea and hadn't sunk in. This was what made her sober.

When the hot air balloon flew further away, Coralie clearly saw that Yohan's body was slowly sinking, as if he was about to be submerged by the sea.

"Yohan, Yohan, wait for me. I'll come and save you as soon as I reach the shore!"

Coralie exclaimed.

At this point, she really hated that the hot air balloon was moving too slowly. She had no time to waste if Yohan's body really sank into the sea. Even if it didn't sink, his body would be torn apart and eaten up by the sharks or other fishes.

However, the hot air balloon was dependent on the wind. Perhaps, the weather was toying with them. As Coralie got more worried and anxious, the wind speed eventually did increase, but it was moving towards a different direction...
